  6. ive got a john deere mower with a freedom 42 mulching deck, and i have just welded the deck and now the "V" deck belt keeps getting a twist in it and seems quiet hot and also squeeks and start up ??? it apparently all worked before it needed welding and i havent touched the toothed timing belt, any ideas would be great thanks. carl

  12. Timberjak Chainsaw Bar Tip Grease Gun Kit for Dolmar Echo Oregon Bars | eBay how about these ones?? looks good.
  13. hi david my 2 cents worth.. i cant see any way you can become a gardener without some form of motorised transport idaelly a van, example simple hedge job , clippings staying onsite, ladders , hedgetrimmer, rake, petrol, toolbox etc going to be pushed getting that into a wheelbarrow not to mention looking like a bit of a plonker!! tools and vehicle are essential for work and they arnt cheap to get or run so without cash its gonna be very difficult imo. good luck carl
  14. i think the wet is the problem in ireland, i spent ages killing the moss and scarifiyin the crap out of it and over the wet winter its back again just as bad.
  15. ok thanks josh will look into that as the peltors are the best muffs imo.
  16. i want to get some chipper spec ( the black and red ones) ear defenders for my petzel vertex helmet, will they fit and can i attatch a normal mesh visor on?? got the msa ones but find they get soaked with sweat and arnt great. thanks carl
  17. i often think its down to bad decisions by planners and designers, putting trees near roads seems a bit stupid if your not going to care for them properly, shrubs would be better at least the dont mind being hacked as much and wont pose a threat to the road. carl
  18. id be incline to agree with the above:thumbup1:
  19. thanks for posting about this, iam always keen to hear details, so he climbed above his anchor then slipped and shock loaded his anchor ? did the anchor fail due to a weak fork? glad he is ok. thanks carl

  21. no because by the time the air pressure has built up all is awake and police at the scene!!
  22. i like the BAR , every shed should have one!
  23. had a pretty wet day today, saw trousers soaked through to boxers, had the c+c jacket on with just a t.shirt and stayed pretty much bone dry so pleased with that so far. waterproof zips on the side would be better and also i would put strong velcro tabs on the bottom instead of the poppers as they seem to open very easily. do people use them for heavier groundwork ( draggin etc)?? want to use it but cant afford to trash it too quick either. carl
  24. good simple tip. thanks carl
