  1. Tisk, tisk Erm tyres at the bottom and burn it up like I suggested. No need to ask any permission then.
  2. Tbh even if earmarked for a fell they dont even warrant the time it takes to buckle up a set of spikes. They prob got a spec to deadwood and crown lift, looked at the state of the tree and thought a few spike wounds wouldnt even make a difference. Still no excuse though.
  3. Nasty cut, but then chicks dig scars.
  4. [ATTACH]43108[/ATTACH] I really do need to stop people joy riding on my lake.
  5. I bet its the cheapest tesco stuff:laugh1: "Yep its all the same oil in different bottles"
  6. Its not what you do or how you do it, its how you say your going to do it. Oh and your price! You could be an arb firm installing stairlifts for the elderly as long as your cheap and you have good equal opportunity policies.
  7. New to me tbh, I will check out the oil I use tomorrow it could be fully synthetic but I do think it specifies a 50:1 mix, or rather it will go up to that. Got to remember I doubt stihl and husky have an oil refinery so they will just buy it from someone who sells the same stuff under another label.
  8. Depends on how well it was welded ie good penetration:blushing: and how thick the steel is. But any welding and heating wont do it any favours tbh plus if the bolts had been tighten up after they had been welded then that could have caused a stress fracture. If there is no damage to any of the anvil, casings etc in the machine ie the blades arent hitting anything then I wouldnt worry and just fit some new blades imo. As long as the bearings are good with no play at all and the surface the blades bolt to is even and not damaged.
  9. You would have to have a lot of petrol evaporate before it caused a big problem. I use a semi synthetic 2 stroke. Cant remember the name but it isnt stihl or husky. Buy it in 25 litre drums and I think its less than half the price of stihl/husky stuff. Never causes any problems and all saws run really well.(well had a 200t or 2 with fooked bores but thats another story) They are all fairly good these days though and the engines in the saws we use arent exactly cutting edge technology.
  10. Possibly didn't clean the surface before during the blades. Or could be a set of poor/dodgy blades. Did you mean that they have welded then ground down some nuts directly onto the blades? If so that would be my guess as to the prob. The heat can harden steel but make it brittle.
  11. On the whole I think work has been just as poor this year as last year if not worse. The amount of cuts the government are making will only make it worse imo. There area load more jobs to go in the public sector. Ditto Mozza about bored kids out on the rob, have to keep more of an eye out.
  12. I'll try and give it a read to see if I understand it. All I was doing was referring to post 5 ie lets see how its received before we water it down, compress it etc.
  13. Lol. I thought you might want feedback as to why there's only 5 of you discussing it. No worries from the small bit of info I may understand I wouldn't agree with it anyway.
  14. Coping the entire folder should do the trick (well it works with some pc stuff:001_smile:)and as long as you have your personal files backed up you can always just reinstall QB if it doesnt work. TBH I would be surprised if you couldnt get the updates from an archive somewhere.
  15. BTW I'm not trying to upset you mate so please dont take any offence at what I say.
  16. Bugger! I am going to have to change the way I see things and run my life from now on. In referring to my earlier post I think that unless someone is REALLY interested in fungi there not going to read that doc. TBH I have no clue on what this thread is about mate.
  17. A list of some new environmental policies (and a few others that will help us)that are due to be implemented within the next 6 months. A big drive on using green waste, departments to be set up in waste transfer stations to take commercial green waste and pay in accordance to the weight of green waste only (atm possibly £9-11 per ton.) Duty on fuel to be lowered initially by 50% on fuel ONLY used in the production of green waste ie chainsaws, chippers, hedgetrimmers etc. This will included petrol and diesel but proof of use must be shown quarterly to claim duty back. VAT to be lowered on machinery required/used in the production of green waste. VAT to be removed from all PPE. VAT to be removed from firewood, woodchip, mulch etc sales. LOLER inspections no longer required for PPE, still applies to rigging Equipment. Revised requirements for training in regards to professional users ie no more 5 year recommendation for training. An finally waste carriers/transfer license to be abolished in regards to green waste removal/transporting. Carlsberg don't post on forums, but if they did they would probably be the best posts in the world.......
  18. I'll come back to this thread when you do.
  19. That is one funny show. Chimp off the old block....
  20. Tv stuff thats on now. ATM Ricky Gervais show E4
  21. A bit of this[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UjsXo9l6I8]YouTube - "Empire State of Mind" Jay-Z | Alicia Keys [OFFICIAL VIDEO][/ame] An gotta be some of this [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmin5WkOuPw&feature=related]YouTube - The Prodigy - Firestarter[/ame]
  22. Apparently they make rocking horse heads out of it. Since its very light I would imagine it doesnt offer an awful lot of heat when burnt. Nice to work with though.
  23. Impressive stuff indeed.
  24. Forgive my ignorance but are they eating/feeding on the bark or just chewing it like rats do to cables etc?
  25. Insurance companies sare just bleedin thieves. Had the same prob when someone wrote off my car, ended up with the car back and got it repaired. They dont even take into consideration the time and effort it will take to try and find a suitable replacement. Plus (no offence) when buying an old vehicle you could end up with a ropey one when yours was spot on. Where you in it? Ie injury compensation etc.
