  1. You do and that looks like a good way to spend it. I usually do a bit of sea fishing and therefore catch feck all:laugh1: Although have done a bit of course not much though, definitely a higher catch rate.

That is silly cheap, not good for the UK dealers though. I'm sure they pay a lot more than that.
  3. I use it and think its a really nice rope. Stays supple for quite a bit longer than others Ive used.

Ha. Ah well ignore me then, seems I'm completely wrong. Would be interested to know whats different though!

I doubt it. But at half the price I wouldnt care if there was.
  6. That one has also been on here before but it still scares me:scared1: Makes my palms sweat!

The magnum also has slightly more power which would help. Dunno how much more though.
  8. If you cant get a replacement part you can buy a different type of unit altogether around the £300 mark. It fits any auto feed system I think plus you can adjust the rpm of the rollers kicking in/out and it has an hour clock. OH and tells you the rpm of your engine so can help if you think it aint running to full capacity etc. If your interested I'll have a look about at who sells them.
  9. I looked at a job the other day which was an 18 foot ish old beech monolith that had fell over. Extremely lucky it hadn't gone another 15 degrees or so towards the road. The sharp bend it was on means someone woulda had a bad day in there car! I hadn't seen it before it was on the deck but looks as though it was a straight ish stem. Hollowed out and basically sponge at the base. Don't put off the inevitable if there are targets, fell and replant.
  10. Its a great vid but isn't this something like the third/fourth thread of this video this week? Anyway he's cheating by using gloves:001_tongue:

  12. Happy Birthday. Looking at your pics I would never believe you are only 35. Have a good un.

A good result in the end though:thumbup: Was it badly scored then?
  14. Yep your right there, typing on an iPad does have some draw backs:laugh1: Tbh, I was looking at getting a 7.5 toner years ago and do think they are a great idea in this game (although i was going to use it as a second vehicle) it's just I would have to get a bigger yard etc so decided against it. Anyway I think I could tow 750kg although it looked like on my license it could be 11000kg MAM never really got to the bottom of it!
  15. I think they have also changed the design on them slightly from the very first ones. I think it was so you can fit the cap when it is full to the brim with oil. I think the main prob people have is that they don't press down and just turn it, only takes a little bit of crap to go between cap and saw body to stop it fitting right.
  16. Have worked out what you can tow just to increase the payload with a trailer etc.
  17. Looks like some rope I have, can't remember what it is but Jonsie ID'd it for me on here.
  18. Ha, I was about 60 seconds too late with my post:laugh1:
  19. 10,9,8,7,6.......
  20. What is it that makes the robins cut so nice? Do you think its the blade speed or just the design/cutting angle? Sorry I cant help with the OP question I have only ever bought the single sided hedge trimmers.
  21. No doubt you will do well, even if its just because your indebted to someone which gives a kick up the arse.
  22. How on earth does it weigh that much!? I know a transit/ldv crewcab weighs around 2600kg, I woulda guessed yours as a chassis cab wouldnt be any heavier than 2100kg. Legally your truck is useless:laugh1:
  23. I wouldnt have thought the electric saws kick back more than petrol saws. I'd be asking who told him and why? Its to do with the energy in the chain than anything else IIRC. Thats why a bigger saw will kick more than a smaller when when the chain travels at roughly the same speed. Maybe a petrol will stall quicker than an electric but I dont think that would matter tbh.
  24. Well comparing your prices and the approx volume of a builders bag (0.6M is it?) you need to treble your prices. Or move a lot further south.
  25. Surely your only too cheap if all the other local firms are charging more than you.Tis irrelevant what others charge in different regions. Although you may make money by selling to them. I dunno what volume that is but we charge £100 for approx 2 cube delivered. Or did its going up this year but only to about £120 prob max.
