  1. Brilliant. Looks like a man at the end of his tether.
  2. Not surprised in the least. Already been on the news that some are reporting police brutality and excessive force! BTW that's a thumbs down to the whinging human rights activist people not the police who do a difficult job. Tough luck as far as I'm concerned, don't throw petrol bombs then complain your getting a kicking. Just seen some of the scum being interviewed, I think a compulsory IQ test should be put in place, those with less intelligence than a slug should loose their freedom to breed and speak.
  3. The Stihl grease is very sticky compared to your bog standard bearing grease so I doubt it will be as effective tbh. Well, you may just have to grease it a lot more than normal I suppose. BTW, the bits inside the gearbox's arent cheap if they need replacing!!
  4. Ah right cheers for the info. I didn't realise they were such specialist pieces of kit.
  5. Ahh, mashing brash up in a skip, brings back memories. Is surprising what you can get in there if you put the effort in with the saw. Still would look at paying someone to chip it first though.
  6. I hope so, I got some tickets I dont really want so I might get my money back. Every cloud etc.... Said on the radio they are looking at using rubber bullets tonight, why havent they used the water cannons though?
  7. Utter madness!! Looks like my thread on the death sentence was quite timely! This is just a very sad state of affairs. Businesses, homes and lives destroyed before your eyes due to nothing more than useless scum.
  8. I hope your going to charge for this service? Otherwise you are seriously undermining the code reading industry! Taking food out of peoples mouths etc etc.
  9. Have never heard that its best to prune alder in the winter tbh. I would do it now, and as already mentioned it will soon grow back!
  10. Well then, I would forget about the £300 and just give a local firm a call to come round and give you a quote. BTW does the person you asked have any knowledge in tree removal? Ive priced a few jobs were the customer has a figure in their head because their mate reckoned it would cost X amount. Sometimes its cheaper than they thought.
  11. Smoking weed, snorting coke and drinking alcohol isnt that bad and doesnt really have that big an effect on working. According to the people that abuse it.
  12. I cook 99% of the time. My missus has a proper job and works longer hours so I suppose its fare. The other 1% is heated up in the microwave.
  13. Yep, if only because lime is such a great tree to work with. Looks very short and stumpy, so I guess not much too fear.

    Worried

Is it a disklok you use? Note the spelling so you get the correct type of lock. I knew a few scum bag car thieves who reckoned they were among the hardest to remove. Make sure you keep nothing on show through the window You can also buy an alarm that will call/text your mobile phone if it is activated. Which IMO is more important than anything ie YOU being alerted to a theft, not relying on the police of a member of the public to inform you. Google should find you one.
  15. Hope the insurance comes good ASAP so you dont loose any work. It could be worth asking any local dealers to give you a 30 day account to help you out. They get a sale and a very happy customer.
  16. Why on earth not!!! Do they not understand that if the crooks get caught with a stash of gear they could possibly trace it back to you ONLY if they file a report! Sorry to hear of another theft. Cant you whack some new saws on a CC until the insurance pay out?
  17. The way I see it we only have one chance at life, once your dead thats it, nothing more. No burning in hell for Mr Nasty who cheated, scammed, stole, murdered his way through life causing untold misery and pain for many, many decent people. No blissfull after life for Mrs Nice who had to endure beatings and abuse as a child, terrorism from the local scum bags, widowed due to a hero husband who tried to stand up to the scum bags etc etc. So, why should we give a second chance to the lowest of the low who lets be honest do not deserve any rights whatsoever. If you deprive someone of their life then I think yours should be forfeit, end of. I would sentence to death more than those who directly take others lives as sometimes death can be a less cruel way than the way some have to live their lives.(makes sense in my head, I think!) The justice system as it is does not work. The death sentence would no way fix it but would, I think, be a good start along with some other major changes. With the advances in science and technology ie forensic's, DNA testing, CCTV etc I would think that wrongful convictions for the DP should be none existent. As mentioned it should only be carried out 'without a shadow of doubt' Whats the use of keeping someone in jail for life? They cant contribute to society in any kind of positive way whatsoever, if anything they will still cause grief to the prison guards, other inmates in for lesser crimes and it has been brought to light that they can still cause major problems on the outside by still running their 'business' though contacts, mobile phones etc. So get rid and move on, life's too short.
  18. BBC News - Death penalty 'proper punishment' for some crimes - MP We need a clear out.
  19. Well that will teach him to try a Hans Moretti trick.
  20. I dont think its to do with it being toxic its more to do with it being a heavy metal that can sit in the lungs and not be expelled, or something like that. Plus i think the other metals in tungsten can do damage like cobalt etc.
  21. You completely sure about that? Besides also depends on what grinding wheel he is using, if it's a green wheel rather than diamond then it is very hazardous.
  22. Yeah deffo dont use one of those cheap throw away dust mask jobbies:thumbdown: Not sure exactly which type to use but mine cost about £30 iirc and you van replace the filters. It has filters that are just for particles rather than spray painting ones or chemical filters etc.
  23. What's the deal with the handle being bonded to the cord? Does this mean if the cord snaps you can't just replace it you need a new handle as well!!? If it is a big double  to Stihl. If not, carry on.
  24. Brilliant news.
  25. well said. How many threads have there been of people comparing about being under cut on prices and how you should part for quality and service!? We can't have it both ways. I think that whoever sells the equipment should have to deal with any warranty problems (btw I know jonsie would be more than happy to have sorted that saw out so I'm not having a go at him) at least it would be a lot more fair.
