  1. Charlieh, If you need a hand with the wiring pm me. I've installed a few winches & have got a set of crimping pliers that do 35mm sq cable. You'd just need to get the cable & lugs. Martin
  2. Dean, I recommend Cooper ST, we've got them on the other half's 110. They coped very well in snow, but haven't tried really them in mud. The 90 on MT's does that job. Martin
  3. Put a blob of weld on a couple of the bolts holding the bumper on. This should slow someone up. Martin
  4. Make sure you put a battery isolator on it. Not one of the cheep one with the red switch a heavy duty one. This saves people from been able to power the winch out with a paper clip. In Oz years ago people would spool the cable out, drag it over the roof & attach it to the tow bar. Then power the winch in cutting the car in half. Also run the earth back to the battery or the main chassis earth next to the gear box. Martin
  5. Got my last one off ebay. No documents needed & here next day. Martin
  6. The problem with those ladders is you can't push it up just a little bit. You have to go up in 4ft sections. HTH Martin

  18. I need to replace the floor of my 8 x 4 ifor trailer. Currently it's got a phenolic plywood floor that got a couple of holes in. The trailer lives out in the weather all year round, so I didn't really want to go gown the wood root. What would be the best material to replace the floor with? Is there a plastic/grp material that is strong enough to carry the weight of a mini digger? I know some of the new horse boxes are using plastic floors. Is checker plate an option. What is this like to shovel off? Many thanks Martin
