  1. My current first aid cert is due to expire in the next couple of months & I was wondering what you course/qualifications you have. Also what kits do you carry on your trucks. Ive looked at the pre-made kits in the green boxes & the seem pants. Ive had a kit made up by a Paramedic mate, thats got everything I should ever need in the back of my Defender. Cheers Martin
  2. I can fully recomend BASE. I did my CS30 & 31 & brush cutting there last year. Ian Morgan is a top bloke, his training is very good. He has spent a long time working within the industry. Ill be going back this year to do my CS38 & 39 You can borrow all the kit you need from them. If you take out a Total Arb subscription you can save 10% on your course costs. BASE is located on the Buxtons site on the A34 between Cannock & Stafford. You'll get plently of time to go into there shop & spend a fortune. Martin

    trackers

Just a tracker, but it records your location, the ignition on's & off's & speed. So your boss can watch you on a moving map image on his PC. It's all very big brother. I've heard stories of bosses turning up next to there parked up van, only to find the driver a sleep. Lets just say they dont work there anymore. Martin

    trackers

In my day to day work I fit tracker's to vehicles for fleet management purposes,(spy in the cab.) I have fitted a traker to a council chipper. The biggest problem is mounting the tracker in a hidden waterproof location & getting a gps signal from the aerial. The new gps technology is improving all the time. The latest Sirf 3 chips are a big improvement. They dont seen to be affected by the faraday cage affect, so you can hide the trackers in more remote locations. Hope thhis helps Martin
  5. Can you recommend any websites showing a step by step guide to splicing. Cheers Martin
