  1. Evnin sor.Got sweaty palms now sir. As a recent entry to the shining path of the certified, a work experienced instructor is easier to take seriously.Go for it.
  2. Must be in a dodgy area, some scumbag has had the engine and gearbox away without them noticing.
  3. I was thinking of hiring a couple of big issue sellers for a temporary closure. Everybody and their dog seem to do anything but go near them. A well thought out mix of double glazing salesmen, preachers and random nutters could quite simply make a highway a no go area.
  4. I'd go for milk stone remover from the local farm supplies. Cheap and very effective, even cleans concrete mixers!
  5. We love five bar tread plate, says it all.
  6. Wow,the new year is really looking up,cheers. That little saw was handy for getting the "organised sequence of cuts" into my head for 31 (snedding),right up to the point that I spotted the family next door watching from their upstairs landing.
  7. Can I quote you on that? Oh, I seem to have already, cheers.
  8. Yup done the 16 tonner out of the ditch, the driver was not supprised. Not done the alternator yet. My Landy is like grandfathers axe though!
  9. The machine that lifted it in would have been worth seeing.
  10. Ill octopus need love too.
  11. Happy new year to all. Perfect weather here for watching the fireworks & still enough for the floating lanterns! Good start.:001_smile:
  12. It aint all that bad being single! More money for toys for a start. Dog gave me something orange and white with lower emissions than I could comply with,I gave him a saddle and a packet of Maltesers. My god-daughter gave me something that lasts longer than Christmass Day. Flu. Speaking of The Dog,does Wal and the dog still happen down under?
  13. Chainsaw waders? Where are these strange beasties to be found please?
  14. In many cases it would be difficult to justify not bringing in a machine. The HSE "where reasonably practicable" is not easily avoided. In the event of a reportable incident, a response of "it would cost a thousand quid to do it safely" would not wash. Personally, on a lot of sites I would like to see long reach machines used, but I want a chance to climb first!
  15. Engcon tiltrotator. The Swede at the S.E.D. was mind blowing. Must get out more.
  16. Snedding sprouts.
  17. If you didn't tie off to the stem you would have to get a mate of the same mass on the other end of the rope to stop it moving over the crotch. Two of you is twice the load.
  18. Cor. You don't miss much!
  19. Hope you get it back soon, and that you still smile everytime you see it.:001_smile::001_smile::001_smile
  20. The new Cats are better built now to be fair:001_cool:
  21. Land Rover have found a way of making paint stick now have they?
  22. That wouldn't be Paul Clements County would it ?
  23. Best tractor i've ever driven was a TW35,lots of grunt and a gearbox that once learned was as good as a powershift. On maize it ran rings around its younger rivals. When the going got wet it and the other big old bus (an MF) could drag their trailers as well as pushing the one in front!Good old days. The ultimate for me is the 1884 that i put a set of tyres on a while back, just had to take it for a quick spin.
  24. Please sir, Can I have more................... saws?
  25. It came in on the first of this month this year. Of course for boaters as well as others it is open to abuse.Buyers now self declare how much they use for non-propulsion purposes at a lower rate of duty.
