  1. i can understand that happening for nxt years sales, but cant really see any need for large increase to cover any vat on diesel. the higher the price goes, the more likelyhood of imports flooding into the UK or ur customers start using cheaper softwood options. Mr Arranwoodfuels must be licking his lips and thinking about going national shortly.
  2. in what way do u mean in tyransport costs?
  3. yes he will still have to pay the vat man more, hes selling it after 3rd january the vat on logs hasnt changed vat on beer has
  4. why have u gone up £10 from January, u must have processed and seasoned ur logs pre Jan vat increase, so ur only increase will be extra vat on ur diesel bill
  5. you will get them at ur local bearing shop, have u doen it before, change the shaft bearings?
  6. well make sure u get the right bearings, i am sure they have to be high speed bearings, check with orange plant or ur local timberwolf dealer.

  17. america just part of the package no extra, but my brother lives there so its a bonus. theres only bt and o2 with broadband equipment in our local exchange, so sky and all the rest use bt equipment, was getting line capped when i was with sky last year with over capacity in the exchange, been much better now with o2
  18. i had a load rejected at UPM pulp mill at irvine, cutters were measuring with saw, pulp was too long, had to cut back the whole load, 27tons of 3 m takes a bit of hand balling:thumbdown:
  19. whats every1 on, i have just switched fron Bt to O2, includes line rental, 20 meg broadband free anytime home calls, 600 mins to USA home/ mobiles, 1471 and 1571 all for £21.50 a month

  22. i did a site for the WT last year, all large bushes we cut off main stems at ground level, drill a hole in them and sprayed with round up, any small bushes under 3ft were sprayed as normal. with a follow up spray in the next year. It keeps the cost down and has worked well on this site. if u go to woodland trust website there is some info on rhroddie bashing
  23. Wood gas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  24. best way to do it..is to work it out urself and then u will sure buy a top diameter log table......FC field book 1 is excellent beech and oak when green is almost cubic metre to 1 cubic tonne easiest way is to take some beech/oak of the same length, measure their top diameters (small end) cross check in table, add up and use 1 cubic metre, splitted it and bag it. hope that helps
  25. most artics carry 27 ton green legally...it really depends how dry the chestnut is, ........if its single stems thats on it, get ur measuring tape out when it arrives, not to difficult or long job if u have 15 to 20 stems to measure. my preference is for the weight ticket, and argue the price per ton cheers g
