  1. Afternoon Ladies, Just had a chip box made of of aluminium, and I need to line it. I would usually do it with something like marine ply, but thought the weight would be a bit counter productive. Was thinking of maybe doing it in GRP. I've never used GRP. Would it be a good idea with saving weight but protecting the aluminium. Or are there other materials I should be looking at. I was thinking of the bash plate (for the flying chips) to be 1mm steel, or would GRP be good. Your thoughts are always appreciated.

  7. Welcome Twobob Don't really deal with many chippers, but what i do know is be real careful when buying off fleaBay. I know someone brought a stump grinder that was totally refurbed off these people: Home page He was very happy with the machine. Good luck
  8. I'm getting an Iveco Daily 35c14 (yeee haaaa) which can tow up to 3 tons, so I'm thinking why not put some of my kit on to the chipper... then I see this.... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owJfr-fAODw]YouTube - DIY vs Professional tree care[/ame] Check it out at about 0.50 seconds. Is that a grinder in the chipper I see? Whats the legality on this. Is it a hi-viz attached to the unit if it sticks out too much jobbie. How about some other ideas on attaching saws and kit to the chipper. Kind of helps with the overloading of the truck I reckon.
  9. That would be the old Polish translation gone awry. I had a pole working for me and when I would ask for the chainsaw to be sent up and i would get my lunch.
  10. Hi, I've just put a deposit down on a iveco daily, but have just seen another one with the same spec and at the same price but with a roller shutter tool box behind the cab ( which would save a load of time/money/trouble having to sort one out.) Do you think I can get my deposit back? Am I legally entitled to it. I didn't sign anything, he gave me a receipt, but there was no terms and conditions. He is a van hire business selling trucks on the side, this wasn't one of his ex fleet. Should I maybe offer the guy a £100 for inconvenience? Thoughts please ladies and gentlemen.

  21. Hi All Merry Xmas to you all. Got me X170 Action Camera, and I need to get recharegable batteries for it, and an SD card. I see in Argos they have energizer lithium batteries, but they are NOT lithium ION batteries. - Are these one and the same? Also... they have all these special/expensive new 8gb SD cards that are meant for HD recording. Do I need this kind of card or will bog standard do. Brush off those hang overs.. with a vodka/red bull (usually works) and I shall hear from you soon. Adam
