  1. What area are you dogman, I have an helix coil kit for plugs if your local
  2. It's more what you can put "forward" of the rear axle than whats "over" the rear axle and you have more room forward of the rear axle with a 130 than you do with a 110
  3. One massive advantage on the landrover is low box, a very useful tool
  4. I,ve had one 10 years, serviced when it is supposed to be, checked over regularly and parts replaced when needed and in that ten years it has never broke down or let me down once. It has a huge box on the back which will fit a fair sized tree in and a tool box over the cab to fit all the junk in that you,d accumulate in a double cab. It is cramped in the cab but I spend my time outside working not inside sleeping, time in the cab doesn't earn money. The cab is only for driving from a to b.
  5. I find them very waterproof and windproof, but don't skimp and buy a cheap one. You'll need to invest in some green wellies too to really look the part
  6. They're back! I have noticed some of my yew are declining again, I looked around a bit and found loads of open tunnels all around the roots. I'm presuming voles have moved into the redundant mole tunnels. Further down I notice three mole hills so have set traps.
  7. It ok setting a high bar on best practice and animal husbandry but that cost money. That extra cost cannot be passed on to the consumer due to imports. How can buy lamb cheaper from New Zealand than we can from Wales ? I also wonder how many of these whacko ALF LACS types actually buy these imports / cheap products which are fuelling the problem in the first place. In my opinion, the demand for cheap products is the primary cause of most of the problems in agriculture
  8. A resounding yes, it's the future.. I have been asking my customers what they use to find contractors for their needs and very few use tompsons or yellow pages, nearly all use the Internet
  9. As has been suggested above, the cull needs to be a human cull. We breed as if there,s no tomorrow, knock down walls and hedges to make 100acre fields to make farming more efficient and productive, force grow millions of chickens a day in order to feed the ever growing population... We as humans as a result need to manage other species in order to carry on breeding, feeding and housing our broods What really pee,s me off is those ignorant humans that breed most prolifically then whinging and protesting about having to manage the land that we need to maitain their needs. We consume around 2 million chickens a day in the uk and want them in the supermarkets for next to nothing, then moan about their welfare standards If people really want to help, stop popping out kids like they are frigging smarties, stop consuming and wasting food like there's no tomorrow and starting growing some of your own fruit and veg in your gardens instead of having a football fields worth of decking to sit and digest all the Maccy d,s crap you,ve just eaten and a grow a gut and backside the size of cows. Humans need to stop being so selfish and ignorant, that would be a good start Just my opinion and not aimed at anyone in particular, but if any of the above seems familiar, I couldn't give two hoots whether your offended or not
  10. If we had a cull on rats there'd be opposition
  11. Leo 23 Mark, don't know what the hire costs are though
  12. Ditto, if I was to buy another mewp it would be that one
  13. It might be a good idea to try and reduce the stress levels in your life too, but one of the things that used to cause me a lot of acid reflux is dilute orange juice. I used to suffer from it quite a lot bending over to pick up logs and brash and it stopped overnight when I just started drinking water instead of juice. I've also found that some sugary cakes and biscuits cause it too. As fisherman as pointed out, you need to find out what is causing it as it will turn into a major problem when your older. My mother had it and her osophogus lining as turned into the same as her stomach lining and the one way valve entering her stomach has been destroyed, so she has had to have her stomach pipe wrapped around to make a valve Reduce stress and cut out parts of your diet till you find what stops it happening
  14. Is this the start of root growth or just callus tissue formation
  15. I managed to have a scrap with a swarm today, about thirty managed to keep up with me and find a way past my flailing arms. Got stung everywhere but my head, they must have thought twice about stinging my mug My hand and arm is twice as big now as it was in the photo. Managed to get stung on my nuts but I'm quite pleased with the resulting swelling from that
  16. Someone has been at it again over the weekend It really does confuse me as to the point of it. They have just pulled up one single plants this time, you can see the marks in the grass where they have stood and leaned over the fence I,m going to electrify the fence, stuff it, I,ve had enough
  17. 5 week's in... No sign of roots, some signs of swelling around the point where the leaves where cleaned off the stem. I have been forced to add a little plant food as they where starting to lose color and brown, some where trying to sprout on top. Since adding a little nutrient they have all perked back up again.
  18. After buying another bottle of superstition ( because it was on offer at a tenner off) I'm not so keen on it second time round. Maybe it's because I have gone onto Laphroaig and lagavulin I don't know
  19. The risk of my house flooding is about 0.0000001% It has been peeing it down all night and all day
  20. Two minutes 15 seconds to get that down Dan...I'd have done it in 1 minute 30 (-:
  21. That's nothing Mike, I just straps sticks like that to the top of my Landy chipbox just got to watch the swing out at the lights
