2. Mike...I have passed your details on to them and told them you were a grand master of walling (-; The wall should be taken down....it is dangerous Foundations are useless, I could literally sweep the soft stuff out from underneath the concrete with my fingers, the pier is just another skin of blocks up the outside of the wall instead of being tied through and the foundation for that is totally undermined and it isn't even plumb Oh and mr Bobbins, yes it is a retaining wall, it is back filled and flagged at the other side just above half way An absolutely shocking example of workmanship
3. Oh dear, what a waste of money. This wall was rebuilt because is was falling over, looks like it won't be long before its falling over again. They had three quotes, two were too expensive and the other was a "bargain price" from an "unemployed builder" I wonder why he was unemployed?
4. To be fair, I wouldn't put any phone in my back pocket.
5. Brighouse junction of the m62 is flooded. Dogs are running round in the garden looking for pheasants each time it thunders
6.
Cheers for the offer, I,m deffo putting in a system but not just yet as I am going to put planning for a house down at the yard so don't know yet whether I want wired or wireless, I'll let you know when I do though

7. Just an update to this thread with recent plant theft threads I have been asked which stealth camera I have. I am currently updating to the one below, after doing a lot of research it's about the best one available at the moment, it is small and compact and will alert you via email or SMS when the action is taking place, it can send you a picture so you can see if it is a false alarm or not and also texts you to let you know the battery's are low Spy Cameras - - Ltl Acorn HD Trail Camera Ltl-6210MM + 8GB FREE with eMail / MMS / SMS The price is cheap for what is effectively a remote alarm with camera system
8. Andy... Progress takes non prisoners, markets will adapt and high street stores will close, there's nothing you me or anyone can do about it. I came out of the power Tool selling and repairing business because I forecast the market well in advance, I was one of the first to setup on eBay. Any good businessman should be able to forecast and diversify well in advance, stihl will learn eventually or by luck scrape through
9. Electronic sales are the future andy, it's unstoppable, bury your head in the sand if you like
10. It's about having the choice to use which dealer you prefer not being forced to use one Stihl are trying to protect their dealer network by forcing people to use them. I prefer the natural selection method myself if my local dealer is good I will use him, if he is crap I won't, price isn't always a determining factor with me, turnaround speed and part availability is
11. I managed to get about 50% out of the grow bags, I would have got more if I'd have punctured the bottom of the bags to allow for drainage. Found out after they were getting waterlogged. Apparently there are some of those blocks specially for the xstream propagator I have bought but I want to try them with no medium at all. In hindsight I should have done some with and some without. But I have done 50% hardwood and 50% semi ripe to see what happens with each
12. Nearly all my cuttings have died off with the heat, even though I kept them in the shade. So next trial is as the first post....aeroponics. 1st pic we have a new 120 place unit 2nd pic filled with cuttings 3rd top on 4th low light till roots establish
13. Besides coming across the promotional video, what got me thinking is I did a job on a street last week which is only a few hundred yards from my house, despite living here nearly twenty years, I had never been along that street before and it was a whole new experience Many of us have been abroad and seen a lot of stuff, I have travelled with the forces and seen a lot in my time, but thinking about it I have seen very few tourist attractions in Yorkshire itself, very little in fact, I just think you tend to dismiss or take for granted what's on your doorstep
14. Just about to go out and water my new plantings, no rain forecast for a while yet Please excuse the finger, it's so amateur
15. Meant more a a friendly rib than a personal attack, but I do base my pish taking on all past posts as well as present, so as to give a well informed view rather than a narrow minded view.
16. I have no doubt whatsoever that other people's thoughts will differ. You seem to have a very narrow minded sceptical view of life yourself, have you sought help for this ?
17. Oh...and feel free to post what your county has to offer peeps..
18. In all your life you will of only seen a snippet of what's on offer
19. When you can visit Yorkshire http://fbcdn-video-a.akamaihd.net/hvideo-ak-prn1/v/761494_162074250639747_183217967_n.mp4?oh=b4150b1a441d919504ad5d9a47b822fd&oe=51EBB0D2&__gda__=1374442131_f07776f3013679dc92f090f3b2635d64
20. I have a commercial contract and have only cut half of it this time. I have left the sun facing grass long to try and protect the ground from baking
21. There's an American guy I saw once on video shooting dollar coins with a rifle from the hip after throwing them in the air. I,m good, but not that good, I'd have to use the shotgun (-:
22. You don't realise how expensive things are till your skint
23. Dean Lofthouse

Oops

This one came up on the side bar whilst viewing the op,s Funny
24. Good man ...and don't be afraid to speak your mind and tell them why you think they are unsafe, it's the only way they will learn
