  1. No Pete, i'm scrapping the rim and putting it on another I have with a nacked tyre on. Suprisingly the tyre wasn't damaged, a good job as it was a brand new one (-:
  2. I'd be asking how much did you pay for it, price is a huge factor in battery quality. Not always but a good rule of thumb
  3. I,m betting you have had warnings that your battery is failing and you have ignored it. First signs of battery failure is normally on the first cold mornings of winter. A battery really has a useful life of 5 years, after that it a bonus
  4. Doesn't just chip, its a multi tool
  5. My Navara was the new shaped one on a 12 plate, a lot more electronics on them than the older model
  6. I watch a tree take down from my house, the tree man took three days spread over two weeks to take the tree down. His rope was left in the tree for at least one of those weeks. I was dumfounded
  7. I recently ventured into the world of Nissan (navara more or less same base vehicle as the pathfinder I am told) and immediately wished I hadn't. However plenty of people I know own them and haven't had the problems I have had.
  8. I don't use it on jobs very often but in the yard its been invaluable. When you do get it out to site its awesome, I,ve won jobs that others simply can't do without massive effort without one. I bought mine privately and paid £12K for it. Dealer price will obviously be a bit more. Mine when I bought it only had 400hrs on it and came with 0.6cube bucket and the grab
  9. About £6-8 for the smaller models and about £12-14k for one same as mine with cab and a grab and bucket
  10. My post appears to have gone missing. The Navara spent 3 weeks out of the 4 I owned it in the Nissan workshops with a fault they can't and still haven't found. So I've gone with my first choice of a top spec auto utah, which I think ranks above hilux Yes the dog box is a CAB arborist😊
  11. I bought this dog box a few years ago. It was made to be a custom fit into a Landcruiser Amazon, the chap that commissioned it bought a new shape Amazon whilst it was being made and surprise surprise it didn't fit in so he had to have another made. It has two hidden draws at the back of the gun drawer and on top it has wellie and coat section on the left and a two dog box on the right with built in led lights and cooling fans to keep the dogs cool in summer He paid 3.5k for the dog box which was useless to him now, so I gave him 1k still brand new. Its a perfect fit in the back of the Isuzu D-max :big grin: ...and the dog approves.
  12. Little giant ladder system we have is used almost daily
  13. Here mate, Lewis Equipment | CSF MultiOne - Products new ones are very space age now
  14. CSF GT45D its the handiest bit of kit I've ever had. Heated cab too
  15. Advantages of having extending boom
  16. This is the issue. Fuel kept in an airtight container will not deteriorate. Fuel kept in a vented carburettor fuel bowl or tank will deteriorate relatively quickly. It all about evaporation - exposure to the atmosphere
  17. It should be exactly the same stuff but it won't have the additives they put in white such as anti foaming
  18. It's dead simple to get round the issue, simply run on white, add the difference onto your pricing structure and let the customer pay the tax.
  19. I'd just use this one for shopping (-;
  20. wow....postcard picture, nice one Geoff
  21. I want one
  22. Used to get it quite a bit on Honda mower engines Mick, same thing only it puzzled me for a lot longer than a week (-:
  23. You will only get a garden shed at that price unless you can get someone to do the basic shell for you and you do all the rest. I've been quoted £1000 per square metre
  24. The tree should never have been touched without the owner being consulted.. and that's with two full stops It's not something you can put right again. So check and double check "everybody" is happy.
