  1. I wouldn't have described a 15ft yew as a sapling, it would be a very very expensive tree to replace like for like Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  4. I buy chain oil from millers oils which is just down the road from me. You can order any viscosity you like, first time I bought SAE 400 from them in winter which was a big mistake, it wouldn't come out of the combi can in low temperatures. Now i use SAE150 which is good all round and stays on the bar as much as is required.

  10. Here's one I've been having problems with....carb that is. The saw hasn't been running well with bad acceleration and lack of fuel symptoms. This is similar to the carb above where a plate seals a port or hole (welch plug ?). I don't know whether the problem is the sealer pealing causing air leak or the sealer going under the metering lever.
  11. swivel this swivel that ?? the ZZ failed at the weakest point the point of failure is where the hole is drilled for the spring location. the hole is drilled at the narrowest point of the side cheek the hole should be located more toward the 6 o'clock and thicker part of the cheek basic engineering principles swivel, sideload, vertical axis, horizontal axis, whats all that about
  12. They also had to recall the grigri 2 not long after launch
  13. It may be also something to do with ground nesting birds judging by the time scale. It really does annoy me that instead of trusting individuals to police themselves, they feel the need to control stocks in such a fashion. To me, all it will encourage is to either people hide or hoard stocks or pour the remainder down the drain rather than going to the trouble of handing smaller quantities back in or not and breaking the law. 14. Correct on the price I was looking at the 20L price. What is the logic behind the legal possession windows that appear. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. It's at least five years old, her husband died and it was left in the cellar, it will be deffo out of date then, shame at £300 a gallon

  18. Haha, I have some of that stable matting, I reckon it would break up, it's that type of rubber that if you bend it tightly it will crack Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Hay bales in the hollows then ramp on the bales ?
  20. in my experience NFU do pay but no where near the insured amount, the loss adjuster just makes up a figure and that's it. I've pulled all my insurances off them Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Are you using any husky toppers bob Sent from my GT-I9505 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. That would be natural selection in action
  23. Also when your up there clip it onto your climbing line carabiner instead of your harness, then the climbing line is taking the full weight of the saw and it's not hanging off your harness dragging it down round your arse.
