  1. well its tank for tank now with the oregon in my huskie, so it seems I will have to check the oil levels every 10-15 minutes now
  2. hi, I normaly use either Total or Oregon bar oil, when I went to buy my Aspen, I ended up buying some Stihl semi-synthetic as did not want a barrel or drum, said to the sales guy it looks thin, was told it is, but stays on the chain better, not getting thrown off the end of the bar, you guys think this is true?
  3. was left in the shed with a broken handle, with the new handle weighs 8.5lbs, its better for me than a maul
  4. about 6 to 7 hours worth in this barrow, have a wood hungry parkray does the water and 5 radiators, old cold cottage
  5. about to pick up a new 435 on monday, seems to be the right tool for the job, having it set up for aspen, paying 260
  6. thank for your input folks, bit the bullet, so pick a 435 up on monday from a dealership, got a price match, they're 18 miles away, but the nearer dealer wouldn't come down in price by 40.00, told them I was going to run it on aspen so they asked me to fetch some in so they can be sure the saw is setup correctly, sounds good to me
  7. or should I spend a bit more an get the 435?
  8. hi all just 'ruined' my Mac 14'' so the local dealership says, so was looking at a husq 236 in there, he wanted 199.99 as long as I left my old saw with him 'for spares' as its in very good overall nick ( he had a recon one in there for 140.00???) so anyhow came home, looked on the web they are now reduced to 169.99 on the husq web site and everywhere else, so rang another husq dealer 30 minutes away, he does not stock the 236 but would order one for me at the reduced price, but suggested for an extra 30.00 the 135 was a better saw with a bigger engine, so I'm going to run the new saw on aspen, lesson learned, do not do any felling, just downed stuff, and take it steady, rare to use more than a tank a time, just do enough to put in the back of the motor, as I have a Husq dealership handy and do not need more than a 14'' the question is which 236 or 135? thanks len
