  1. Only positive Nigel ???
  2. Mine didn't do bluetooth and any info is sent on a digitally encrypted mobile signal. Mind you, if you are into phone tapping you have one part of the jigsaw. Problem with cards is you never really have the money guaranteed in your account, the card company can take it back or reverse the transaction if you get an unreasonable customer
  3. I think I actually agree with Rupe, especailly when wrestling ( and I use the word wrestling loosly Reg ) big rings upright next to an up-ended trolley. Me Rupe Reg or any other arbtalker might have the nounce to watch what we're are doing, but it only takes one person in a population of 60 million to be an pratt and sue and you can bet you bottom dollar that person will work in Arb for you
  4. Have you been googling because there's been many incidences of Euc's dying for no apparent reason here Tony ?? I do seem to have seen a lot this year
  5. Who mentioned Meripilis ?? I was refering to this statement, "In my experinence the majority of contractors see tree fungi as a cash cow because its easy to lead the client towards an expensive tree removal job."
  6. Bit sweeping is that Gibbon In my experience the majority of contractors are ignorant to the types and effects of different fungi. But as Dave as said above, if it is a terminal ailment then why manage and add cost to the client. As you are aware, sometimes reductions can be more costly than removals If they are so passionate about retaining a mature tree then replace with an extra heavy standard. ...and we all cash in on Tree work
  7. Nah mate, just had to close the hopper, would have been a bit tight with it open. Front of landrover was tight against a wall. One thing us westies have compared to you easties is gonads One thing I have notice from the pics though is I have the wrong reg plate on my chipper
  8. I can just picture David now, sat by his pc rocking back and forth, head in hands
  9. Today after their weekly 7 mile fitness training run, looking a bit confused as to where to park their butts after they worked out it said "park" and not "bark"
  10. Nice one Ad Wishing the three of you the best of everything
  11. Your a crap businessman Daz I would pay someone that no problem if I had a big takedown. Chip the brash, leave the stem where it is in 12ft lengths and walk off site. Mick comes along next day picks up the stem sections and takes them away. Saving you a full day of cutting up, blunting 660's and clearing dustbin after dustbin of sawdust. You need to apply for a job stacking shelves at sainsburys mate for dissing my mate mick.. next time you diss him I'll have to come over and slap you with a damp smelly rag Can I have mates rates too mick ??
  12. Whats the little code Peter, mine says 107
  13. Its at the side of a footpath, cut it down quick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Minature stunt fell
  15. Aye, he's a good climber is our rich.......wel done mate
  16. I've calculated that If I tie 8 kinetic ropes together and tie to the back of the landy which is fully loaded with chip that if I could reach 60mph in the direction of my yard, I could get a 2ft DBH tree to land straight in the yard from the other side of Huddersfield
  17. I'm looking out for some to have a play with and video, should be a good laugh if nothing else
  18. Lower down the stem means much much more brute force. High in the canopy needs very little indeed. I proved my theory last year by pulling over a slightly backleaning monster ash tree on my own with a throw line With my superior intelligence control is easy sorted mate. There would be a one way system, once it comes forward it wont go back.
  19. The idea was more for shock cord which is elastic inside a multiplat outer. the multiplat outer allows so much stretch then stops, bit like a bungee jumping cord, infact a bungee jumping cord rated at 8 tonne or so would be ideal
  20. Aaaahh thats more my style Mike
  21. I have tried to pay by a revolutionary payment system a few times but no-one seems to want to accept it. A builder I know billed me £200 recently and I asked him if I could put the money directly into his account using my powers of thought. I told him it may take a while for the money to show He told me he wouldn't accept that form of payment
  22. I had a mobile card machine for 10 years, not worth it
  23. Exactly my sentiment... But we should also be planting new woodland on dis-used greenbelt for future generations and to also force councils into using brown belt for building and not chip away at our green and pleasant land
  24. Haha...I've just read the Road tax part from the Landcruiser page.... From £950 I can tax a 44 tonne artic for £700
  25. An easy question 4x4 SUV - Toyota Land Cruiser V8
