  2. I grew up on my Fathers sawmill, he was a main agent for McColloch chainsaws, they then changed to Alpina in Europe . 70s through to early 80s they wer supposedly a match for any Husqi or stihl. I am in the process of resurrecting my Fathers Last saw, an Alpina Forestter. If I can get some photos scanned I will put them up of his old rally car which was decked out in the McColloch Livery
  3. Ageed there khriss, if you can get on to a larger company you will probably get your tickets a bit quicker, is EDF your local electrical company there if so, get a look for any jobs either with Fountains, BTS or Brockwells as they are starting new contracts on line clearance for EDF. Not the best of work at times, but present economic climate probably the safest. Good luck

  15. possibility you will need IRATA which is not a simple process, you have to complete so many hours at set levels before you can set your own systems. One company I work for on weekends clearing rock faces and bridges on the railways wont accept IRATA and use staff with cs 38,39,40, 41 etc, they believe it super seeds IRATA. hope this helps

Arrived at the restaruant with the wife who had'nt a clue about any of it, sat there for 1/2 hour waiting for the guests to arrive when the I got a text from the sister in law asking where we were, it only dawned on me then I was in the wrong farmers arms, what a bloody job to perswade her the restaraunt we were in was shite and we should go some were else, still does'nt know to this day but it costs me beer tokens when ever I see any of her family.
