  7. Thanks chaps- seen those Mogs- he`s got two for sale, at this stage would prefer a later 1600 with the more powerful intercooled engine. If noting turns up here will go back to the 1400`s Jon
  8. Looking for a post 1994 U1400 or U1600, will also consider the long wheelbase version of these models. Must be agricultural specification and in good mechanical condition- no painted pieces of scrap please- cash waiting for the right machine. Please PM me with details Jon
  9. Very common problem on those eurogreen machines, the end of the timber hits the leading egde of the anvil- we solved the problem on ours by welding a 3mm plate to the bottom of the infeed, between the rear of the feed rollers and the front of the anvil, grind it smooth to create a ramp to clear the anvil- sold it 12 years ago though as it spent more time being repaired rather than earning money:(
  10. Im Stunned- Not a single swear word from Mr Shepperd:lol:

  22. Up until 8th October nothing- Now 412k:sad:
  23. Our latest project- a farm2000 we saved from the scrapyard and are in the process of refurbing- before and after sandblasting
  24. We had 2x 330 before the 440 superb machines, Hatz engines with proper industrial clutches never put a spanner near them- Brought the 440 based on our history with the other chippers, put me off the bigger Schliesing tow along chippers-spent as much time in our workshop as it did working, went to Morbark and never looked back:001_smile:
  25. Had a 440 tow behind for 2 years, awful bloody thing- the clutch system works off the weight of the engine tensioning the drive belts, but on British pot holed and speed bumped roads the engine is free to bounce up and down shagging vast amounts of belts and bearing in the process- the pto version is lovely though:001_smile:
