  5. sammer

    150 or 190 ??

Thanks ever so much that's excellent knowledge to know, 190 it is then! Sam
  6. hi, could you please tell me the differences between them apart from aperture, only i just realised they have the same engine i think,i've just put a 190(non turbo) aside as i thought it would have more power, chipping into a big lorry is the reason i'm asking this. If they do have same power is 35hp measured at the flywheel or cylinders?if cylinders does the 190 have less power the flywheel set up must be heavier surely therefore taking more power to run? please help with my confusion, cheers Sam
  7. Hi there, The 190 2004 I said i'd have from arbor cut has been re-furbished new axle etc,the engine has 900 hours on it,would you say a well maintained kubota engine is still good for how many more hours maybe? And is there anything specifically to watch out for?obviously i underststand it depends how its been treated before. the price is £6750 and its had new axle, shot blast n re spray, new panels, full service, new wheels n spare, blades n rollers sharpened, does this seem about right in your opinion?? any view welcome, cheers sam
  8. Hi all, could do with some advice on if anyone has changed there truck to agri and how much shite they giv u at the dvla! i know all the rules and regs mostly but is it as simple as goin to dvla showing them a pic of truck with timber poles and grab on and then swaping over under the 'lift and load' catagory to agri? do u have to own the forest to work it like if you own the farm and use your tractor because 1 guy at dvla said if i was doing work in a woods i didn't own i'd need a bloody operators license! bet no-one with a mog or timber tractor rig has got one hey!! The truck in question is the one in picture to left, 13.5ton 4x4 iveco with 8t/m grab, anyone know about laws regarding big forest chippers and tractor units as they seem to be on agri and can drive anywhere they like when they dont own the forests?? any views and help massivly appreciated sam
