  1. Very nice looking set up:001_smile:
  2. You aint in this business to have fun boy- you are here to fleece old ladies and defoiliate the countryside:lol:
  3. A friend of mine, Ken Day is a mobile Mog mechanic, he showed me a picture of an AV supplied mog that when he put the lifting ram on and tipped the cab up, the cab carried on going and landed in a crumpled mess on the floor in front of the machine, with the floor panel still attached to the end of his ram:sneaky2:
  4. Nice one Stevie- cheap parts for those mercs- id keep it mate could earn you some decent money:001_smile:
  5. Telepathy maybe?
  6. What im gettting at, is genuine merc replacement panels for a mog are quite cheap, easy to fit so what is the point in bogging it all up with filler- you only loose out on future sales.
  7. Find newspaper works quite well:001_smile:
  8. Nowt wrong with a few big tubs of filler mate, a least it dont rust!
  9. Frankie does sell some good mogs-BUT you MUST know what you are looking at- there is a bit more to any machine than a shiny paint job and all the bolt on goodies. Ive had a few good mogs off frank in the past, but paid trade prices for them and sorted out the problems myself- most of his Mogs are ex european gritters, very easy to sand blast and paint to make a sale, but the rust always come back.
  10. Buy it NOW, we submitted a bid for 9.5 acres in surrey and valued it at 10k per acre- it sold for 140k. Land- they dont make it anymore
  11. Frankie only sold that lot to him last year- cant have been too impressed with it then:sneaky2:
  12. Any pics of the ram/valve setup you have on your machine-seen it on bigger machines not on smaller ones though:001_smile:
  13. Mmmmm My motivativation? FEAR Of the WIFE:scared1:
  14. Husky 266 brought new in 1988, still gets used a bit when we are a saw short for one of the lads
  15. Hi Mark, thank you very much for your help with the PTO information.

    Regards Jon

  16. I`m looking for a second hand Husqvarna 338 climbing saw- one of my chaps has asked if he can have one, bit reluctant to buy a new one, as we always use Ms200. So if you have a reasonable running one that you want sell please PM me. Thank you in advance

Hi Mate, do you want to get rid of the dead 760, as looking for one for spares
  20. Got Dyneema Bowrope on the winch mate, use it almost daily at the moment had it for 2 years if you look after it will outlast steel rope- as Stevie said lovely to use and far stronger than it looks but buy the best you can
  21. PeteB`s idea of a log chute, cheap to do and very effective, we used scaffold debris chutes, cheap to hire and can be clipped together to make a very long run.
  22. Think your roof might leak a bit mate
  23. That was the prussic clip mate:001_smile:
  24. You got the name right, confused many people on how they wrapped around the prussic knot.
