  1. The tacho exemption applies to the use you are putting the vehicle to, we run 7.5 tonners all on exemptons.
  2. As the vehicle is over 3500kg it must be tested at one of the VOSA test stations- on the day of your test you can ask to have the vehicle tacho exempt, a simple self explanitory A4 form to tick a box and sign at the end ( go for the Forestry/agricultural Box).BUT being over 3500kg you will need an Operators Licence, albeit a restricted one (orange disk)
  3. Just swap to standard 16" rims for shogun 3.2, shed loads on ebay, paid £120 for 5 rims and reasonable tyres.

  8. Recently purchased a few bits of equiptment from Holland and Italy, their economies are suffering also, consequntly the respective dealers are offering tempting discounts- UK dealers should be able to take advantage of these and pass them on to us. 13. Dean, you wont need a rubber sheet( unless you have a rubber fixation:vroam:) the first one we built using GRP, the body is nearly 14 years old now and the chap chips into it with a 18 inch Morbark and looks almost as good as new
  14. Ive just orderd a load of alloy planking off servicemetals to build a chipbox for our Mog, each panel will be 2m wide by 2m high- the planking comes in 20cm strips and slots together to give a smooth finish- hope to post pictures of the body build as it progresses
  15. Sorry forgot to add, the GRP panelling we have used is called dry freight- you can buy the alloy edging and finishing strips from both suppliers also- very easy to use a good weekend will see the job done-
