    You Run a business not a charity. thats how i see it. if its for a direct friend. then as long as the cover all expensies and give a little extra.

    I am sure there there is another vid similar to that..but they tree is much bigger. i watched a vid about 6 years back that a canadian friend/tree surgeon lent me. It was the same topping out a large tree then the guy climbs on top and sparks a smoke up. Then it says tree men or lumberjax smoke Malboro! ha.

    I am selling wood now and instead of dropping of ton loads i am goin to sell already bagged wood. Does anyone know where i can buy good cheap log bags? And how much is the going rate per bag of logs? Cheers

    the tree and large crown was leaning other direction from the limb..it wasn't the shock loading...it was removing that amount of weight from the rear of tree...just asking for it to fall over.

    Yeah possibly..but i had driven 1 hr to get there...and the bloke didn't tell me over the phone...or eve point out faults of tree on site. Too much risk..taking the limb of the back then felling it is best option

    Undertand what you mean ..if the wind doesn't blow it over what dif will your weight make. But there was a tree size branch growing out of the side..by removing that..i would've been enough to shock the tree and possible split it. Possibility is enough

    Yeah thanks. you know about 3 yrs ago i would have climbed it...and it could have killed me..what bothers me is he could have and might still get a less experienced guy to do the tree .
