    Tom, don't mean to pick fault but its not a good idea to choke directly on to your pulley, you should have a Karabinier inbetween (or Mallion Rapide). It's all to do with the karabiner having a radius edge and the pulley having sharp edges. In the end the pulley could cut through your whoopie sling.

    Nice video Tom, on your red lowering pulley have you got the strap choked through the eye on the pulley? Have a look at 6.30 mins.
  10. I've had a Nokis 6300 for the last year and it seems to stand up well to the abuse it gets. I do keep it in a case though, as cases are cheaper to replace than phones.

  12. First time I went to pick Christmas trees it took me 3 hours to find 6 I was happy with.
  13. I have in the past, when time allows. But i'm happy enough to let Paul pick them for us (he has a better eye for it than me).

  18. You've beat me on that one John, I've only had to put up hanging baskets for two years and it was only about 80 each time. why is it they are always full of water when you have to put them up??
  19. How do you secure them John? do they drop into a pit and then you wedge them? This is my first year not putting up the Christmas trees in Northampton they usual have 6 trees, 5 x 35ft and 1 x 40ft. I've put them up for the last 19 years.
