  5. I must have about 6 pairs of mitts (used to be issued with a pair a year and never used them) much prefer the Husqvarna gloves. Mind you mitts keep your hands warmer.
  6. Point taken. I totally see what your saying. I stand corrected. Ive learnt something new today.
  7. Your right saying that gloves have a class rating, but come on think about it are you really going to cut the BACK of your left hand, and can you answer me this? Why isnt the back of your right hand padded?? Why arent the palms padded or cut resistant? Anyway both hands should be on the saw when cutting so wouldnt it make sense that its padded to stop injure from the chain brake handle? I'm not having a Dig 3Dogs
  8. The padding on the back of the left hand is not to prevent you from cutting yourself, Its there to stop the chain brake handle from braking the bones in your hand when you get kick back, With chain brake handles now mostly being made from plastic and not metal this is now less of a problem.

    Damage Report

Rolled a tractor about 5 years ago whilst side arming, the field I was in was about 3-4foot deep in bramble and I was driving though it keeping an eye on the level of the hedge,I found a hole with the front wheel but coz of the bramble it didnt drop all the way in, back wheel went over the same hole and next thing I know the tractors tipping over away from the hedge with the side arm now 20ft up in the air and still spinning. Odd thing getting out of a tractor when its on its side. Got the tractor pull upright and there was no damage (the brambles had saved it). :)
  23. Now you say that I can see you are sitting. Did you get wet feet?

  25. First thing I would do is to get the Tree Officer to comfirm in writing that the trees have no orders on them and grant you permision to remove them.
