  1. Thats what it looks like to me as well.
  2. Looks good, unless your redirect fails then it's one hell of a drop.
  3. Very intresting document, need to spend a day or two to digest it all.
  4. Had a pair for nearly two years and there holding up well, just need to get them resoled.
  5. Once you wire up a Yew you will always have to keep it wired, and that means going back every 3 - 5 years to check up on it.
  6. I have wired a few Yew over the years, mainly in church yards. I find the best way to gather them in is with ratchet straps. Then wire them up and release the straps. I'd put a wire around every 2 - 3 feet up.
  7. I like my XTC spearmint
  8. I have to agree with this, having worked my way up from a Grunt to a T/O over the course of 20 years. A T/O with no experiance can be a real nightmare.
  9. I really like the look of that socket. We drop ours in a hole the same as yours then put wooden wedges down the side to secure it.
  10. I really enjoyed reading that, amazing to think that was back in 1989. I heard nearly the exact shame thing at the AA Trade fair in 2007.
  11. Stihl everytime
  12. Do you have a recipe for that Mr Ed?
  13. Bill I would love your recipe for Chillie and Red pepper Chutney, it goes great with so many things.
  14. Have done it both ways ie soaked and not soaked, and I have found that it can keep your onoins crispy. As for chillies I only put 6 Scotch Bonnets in (mixed colours) and yes it is hot but not suicidal.
  15. Having read Wild Trees and being totally blown away by it. I think that Dr. Sillett is being protective of the Redwood to the point he almost thinks of them as his children. I'm not sure that showing pictures of the trees and naming the trees in the pictures will have a detrimental effect on the trees, but I would want the locations of the trees disclosed. But given the chance I wouldn't say no to climbing one.
  16. Hot doesn't do it justice :scared1::scared1:
  17. Forgot to say boil the vinegar with the spices in and let it cool down before pouring on your onions
  18. Hi Sambo, Its not hard to do your own, you will need. 1. Large jar (sometimes you can get a large jar with the pickling vinegar already in it). 2. Vinegar (see above) (I like malt vinegar) Sarsons do a good pickling vinegar (once the onions and spices/chillis are in fill to the top with vinegar 3. Small hard pickling onions (hard because they can go soft in the vinegar) you should be able to get them from farmers markets or a good fruit and veg shop (you will need to peel the skin off and top n tail them) 4. Pickling spices (normally made up from pepper corns and dried chillis) 5. Add your own chillis if your feeling brave. 6. Leave for about 4 weeks before trying. Enjoy
  19. Malt pickling vinegar with some pickling spices and the chillis to taste. the trick is finding good quality onions, the harder the better.
  20. Just tried my first batch of Pickled Onions, and had to run to get some water. Wow there hot, mind you they have been pickled with about half a dozen Scotch Bonnet Chilli peppers:jumping38::jumping38:
  21. Ok Rupe, I hang my head in shame
  22. I think my favorite Gadget has to be my Leatherman Surge.
  23. Not bad at all Steve.
  24. That redirect looks great, must give it a go sometime soon.

    Rigging Errors

That second clip was hair raising, glad it didn't get you.
