    I tried NFU for a number of vehicles when I lived in London. Always, I was told they wouldn’t cover me. As Swinny mentioned they once asked if either of my parents were farmers or had cover with NFU. It was always expensive for me despite the full no claims and zero points. The problem I had, was my registered address was in Lewisham 😂

    I don’t get it. What would you prefer? Dog shit on the floor outside your house or dog shit in a bag in your bin? I live in an area where there are many dog walkers and they walk across my front garden. As long as they bag it, put it in the bin, it isn’t the end of the world.

    I am not actually sure what you were trying to say. When I did my will it was explained like this, it was also the case when my father passed away. Each person has 350 k allowance. If one partner dies and the leaves to the other then they pass away within a designated period, the kids would be inline to pay IHT of the value exceeded 350 k. The same scenario but the initial couple are married. The kids would then have double the allowance I.e 700k before being required to pay IHT.

    IIRC the IHT bit is 325k per person, so if you are married then that is doubled. So 650k allowance before paying tax to the Gov. At least that was the case and advice when I made out my Will a few years ago. Me and the missus are not married and the lawyer highlighted this and advised we get married as it would be financially beneficial for my kids.

    Yes, and that white shit, is snow. We had 18degrees C on Saturday. I even went topless at a barbecue. Then today, wake up to between 5-10 cm of sleet/snow and 2.5 C. Thats Norwegian springtime for you LOL.

    Kira having little nose lick of one of her brothers before he went off to school. Then, this evening I took her to the clay ground as my oldest son fancied a blast. I also thought it a good opportunity to get her used to the bangs. No point having a hunting breed scared of bangs. She wasn’t fazed one bit.

    Totally agree. Harness time for sure. Yet the likes of the companies mentioned usually expect production levels of an experienced climber from someone out of college. I used to live in the borough of Lewisham and Glendale had the parks and street trees contract. A lot of the work was shocking.

    Over worked and underpaid. Couldn’t have said it better myself. No need to knock your nuts out in a daily basis to make some company shareholder a bob or two. Been there done that. There is better money to be made working for oneself (whatever the capacity). Is there any wonder that recruitment companies are struggling to fill positions? Maybe if a decent wage was offered or even a decent price was tendered at the bidding stage then it might be different. Until then, the likes of Glendale etc will still offer shit money with a promise of bonus. Everyone else knows it is a load of bollocks and only freshly qualified people (naive) apply. Till they realise they are doing shit work and getting paid minimum. They leave and the cycle starts again.

    So what is the cost to develop an App? 4-5 pounds a month isn’t a lot. How many users do you think you will need to recover developmental costs let alone profit. IME, the type of guys who would be the target market are the ones who complain about costs for this and costs for that, either that or are crap as paperwork and would just dismiss something like this - even though it could be helpful. The rest will pay for the additional features of a product like Arbpro.

    I am not sure what you are after. Are you wanting to sell it? Are you wanting a value on it? Are you an antique collector? Its and old Stihl chainsaw that will rattle a regular users hands to pieces.

    I once used some bailer twine and the largest socket I could find in the set. Worked pretty well and got my up that tree.

    Is it a rare thing in UK? We see it pretty often here in Norway. If that road was busy, wouldn’t the Chaga absorb the fumes from motor vehicles?
