  1. Darren, that job was in Kent. Working in UK for about 4 weeks then back out there for Easter with the kids. I used the gopro studio software. Free from their site. Still need to get my head round lots of the features when I get the time.
  2. Will do Benn. Got quite bit of footage working over in. Norway recently. Just need the time...
  3. Cheers Darren, how are you doing?
  4. Cheers. Ross, the tune is by Milky chance. It is called sweet sun from the album sadnecessary. Benn it was lashing down fist thing, then the sun came out so I filmed a bit. Blowing pretty hard by the end of the day though.
  5. A little edit I put together last night as I was stuck indoors. Footage is of a large Oak dismantle for Mark Bolam. Tree had to be mostly rigged down due to the eccentric land owner's collection of Peacocks, Geese, Alpacca's and various other water foul in pens. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epIzaVnig-k]Charing Oak - YouTube[/ame] First real attempt at a tree vid. Hopefully you like. :001_tt2:
  6. Pics from Bolams job today...
  7. I look pretty small up there... Got some other pictures of the job, will stick a few up later. Cheers Mark.
  8. Do it Steve. You won't regret it.
  9. Mike Hill worked there for a bit I think. Give him a shout.
  10. It hasn't been a problem with mine. Do you drop it a lot? I tend to use the saw and short clip it so my harness.
  11. Some may be interested in this... A little clip from BT Sports Beyond the Octagon. Featuring the gym I train at and a few of the trainers from there. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TeKaRRpNfE]Michael Bisping's Muay Thai masterclass | UFC: Beyond the Octagon - YouTube[/ame] It is nice to see the Alan the guy who started it all getting recognition. Haakon (my son) with Yod, one of the trainers over from Thailand.
  12. I must admit I don't mind moving the odd one or two but and infestation of eggs - forget it!
  13. Quite right. I can't believe people are not brave enough to ask the customer to do the correct thing and clean up after their pet for fear of loosing the work. If they are a decent person, they will clear it up. If not then let some other mug do the job...
  14. Hows the loop in the end holding up?
  15. Bloody joker. Cust: What discount can you offer? You: Well I won't chuck it at your patio windows... I once asked a rather well to do woman, very politely, if she had a pooper scooper as a dog had laid eggs all over her garden and they needed clearing up before we worked. She smiled, said yes and brought one over to me. At that point I walked away and let her clean them up. First rule of owning a dog, clear up after them IMO.
  16. Yeah I know mate... first one was fixed by Nissan Main Dealer for 260 plus labour. That failed and they replaced under warranty. The last time it happened I got one on ebay for about 130 and paid a local garage to fit it. During the course of fitting the mechanic snapped the bolt of the supposedly replaced one... had to retap and fit. In his opinion, Nissan had ripped me off as the part that supposedly was replaced didn't look like it had been removed at all. If it happens by a grey import from Nissan Asia of ebay, not a problem since I fitted it and reinforced the line with a length of hose and gaffer tape.
  17. Thank you whoever turned the picture the correct way up.
  18. I love mine for the right job. It has even got me out of a bit bother when I dropped a 200t 35 foot and busted it.
  19. I have a D40 Tekna Connect. Been a great truck, done 39k in 3 and a bit years. Only problems I have had have been foxes chewing threw the ABS sensor cable (3 times). I am not as long as you but at 6'4" it is plenty comfy for me and no bother with two kid seat in the back for long journey's.
  20. Cheers mate, back in a week. Yes the tyres are great on that Hilux
  21. Actually yesterdays job. One of 14 (IIRC) fells. Clearing them up today.
  22. I enjoyed that John, thanks.
  23. I can say it doesn't operate too well in minus temps and snow.
  24. 2 of the 3 Ash trees dead wooded today beside a moat. Brrrr!
  25. Nice work 18 Stone. Was it you climbing or one of your boys?
