1. Exactly Dave. Why should you have to pay for the privelidge of using their facility when they have millions upon millions of customers hard earned pound to play the markets with. That is where the majority of money is made. For example, those who use Santander. I used to work for a guy who banked with them, they were free to use for business banking. When he transferred money owed to my account - HSBC. It would take 5 days to clear. What do you think they are doing in that 5 day period?
2. I found it easier to start with a small pilot hole and then use large drill bits till you get to about 13mm.
3.
Did you see the pictures mate?

4. First pic shows the hole. The second picture is a ported saw spud did for me. The exhaust cracked and the casing came apart but you should be able to see the inside pipe I mentioned. Hope this helps. I also started a thread quite a while ago about this. Ill see if I can find it. Edit: the thread I mentioned... http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/3772-porting-ms200t.html
5. If you remove the exhaust there is a pipe inside the housing. I just drill through the outer lining the hole up with the inner pipe. Hang on Ill just take a picture and post it for you...
6. Why did you leave site so late? Pricing cock up, short of staff or machine downtime?
7. I have been doing it for years on my 200t's. Makes them run a treat. Just one 13mm hole rather than 2x6mm holes. The hardest part was getting hold of the 13mm drill bit.
8. A rather portly Aussie star called Rex Hunt was describing his days of being a slim youth. "A long time ago, before there was a roof over the toolshed!"
9. Your only scared Mark 'cos you are worried your little arms aren't up to the task of controling a modded one. I have seen the look of fear when you pick one of mine up..!
10. I think with the Nav, they are classed a commercials full stop. I had problems getting quotes from some insurers as that model wasnt in the manufacturers list for Nissan. Kept being redirected to commercial. I had already commercial but was just trying to get a comparision.
11. Standard 40 hour week is just short of 450 a week before overtime. Plus the OT. That is not a bad wage for an employed climber on the books ongoin training, holiday and sick pay.
12. Nice one John. The mog surely saved your backs today...
13. Where you based mate? I can splice it for you if you get it to me. I am in South East London.
14. My old man, also bald as a coot. His favourite saying is ... "grass doesn't grow on a busy street!"
15. Limes disease, not good. When I worked in Connecticut there were quite a few people we worked with had it. Had to check everyday for tick bites. Horrible things. I had one that I thought on my arm the other day working near Gatwick. Looked at pics on the net when I got home and I am 99% sure it was one of the buggers.
16. Cool. Say hello from Rich next time you see him. My old man grew up in Scorton btw.
17. It looks very similar to a splice a marine splicer did for me a couple of years ago. Just the cover on the neck of the splice. Did you reinsert the core through the eye and out past the throat? A small fid length below the throat.
18. Kit? Dave the dog? Not seen or heard from him for while.
19. Exactly as Peter said. Once you get your head around it, it is so bloody obvious why you are doing it the way the instructions say. Just takes a while to get the head around it. There are loads of clips on YouTube for the double braid splice.
20. Flip flops Liam. In my mind it is a desert island. I would take 3 modded 200's. I haven't used a 150 yet and am not overly keen on the 201.
21. Yeah I checked his Facebook page. Seems the press were omitting a few details so not to spoil a good story. Taken from his page... Yeh they've over egged the rescue, they unknotted my rope from a branch it was tangled round, I'm very grateful though hahah! My mate had gone to get a ladder when he noticed the truck had been nicked.... London Fire Brigade tweeted about it and a reporter got wind of it.
22. I have done quite a bit of work in that area and initially thought it was a bit of a wind up... I mean how many "woods" can you get in the opening paragraph and still be taken seriously? No good though the fact he had his kit stolen.
23. Heard about this on the grapevine... UPDATE: Wood you believe it: Woodsman rescued from tree in Woodland Way, Petts Wood by watch manager Woods, had van stolen (From News Shopper)
24. Nicely done matey.
