  1. I have BFG TA KO's on my 65 plate Hilux. So far so good but it is very early days. I ran a set of GG AT's and AT2's on my Hilux. Again no problems by I think the AT's only got about 48k out of them before needing a change.
  2. Harry, the human Avant, as I like to call him.
  3. Cheers Ian. I quite liked the 3rd one. Spot the climber!
  4. Couple of pictures the guy I was grafting for today managed to take. We removed a Dead Cedar last week at this care home and today was a mature Cedar to take out. Tree had a fair bit of decay at the base and a couple of old wounds mid way up the trunk. But of a tangled mess but got her done in decent time. But of a lean and a bit of a breeze so I smashed about 7 limbs off then went down to give the lads a hand. Then the rest of the green and down again. Then the stem to felling height. Most of the limbs were fairly long and end weighted. Just used the coos bay, or my version of it at least. Basically undercut on 45 degrees for both sides and then fast cutting from the top to join them up. Pop! And down they float. Also had a run out with the rebuilt, ported and dual muffled 660. She is getting better with every tank! Rich
  5. It was in Radlett, just north of London mate.
  6. Took down a stone dead cedar today on the edge of woodland. Gloomy day so an early finish was good. Rich
  7. Great pictures mate. Not really seen anything like that before. What was the height of the tree? it was certainly chunky. Cheers for posting.
  8. Yes Jim, can you explain what happened exactly. Cheers.
  9. Thanks for making the effort again Steve. Well done.
  10. I use mine as an extension of my arm to retrieve hangers or ropes. For rope though I hold the back of the blade and use the handle
  11. My 150t has been Exhaust modded since I got the thing and the timing has been advanced recently by 6 degs. As long as the chain is super sharp it will pull bar length (10") in softer woods like conny, willow, pop etc. Now the timing has been advanced it is even better. You can see the 150t in use during this little vid. This is before the timing advance. [ame] [/ame]
  12. I always climb with a silky, unless I forget it. Silky 420 Sugoi for me. I have a 150t, owned it for about 2 years now. Cracking little saw that I could use for most things. Pruning and dismantles are a breeze with the 150t. The only downside is when I go up a tree with one of my 200t's it feels like I am lumping a 66 about. The 150t is a great little saw but I still like to climb with a silky.
  13. Nice work mate. Did you have to clear all the brash as well?
  14. Good work Olly. I see your still on the bone. How you finding it mate? Mine started to slip s bit on a new cougar Orange line so I have been on a RR for a bit. As for the cost for the video. 1-200 would be fair or just bill it as an extra day for your time. Using the line that it will allow you to purchase more kit to make better vids is a good one. Good luck and catch you soon fella.
  15. Glad you finally found the inspiration Jesse. Good work bud.
  16. I'll check the video later. One thing a few I was discussing with a fellow climber the other day was that ART are missing a trick. I am eagerly awaiting an ASRT device.
  17. I have heard they go great. Increased HP, torque and mpg. It is on the list but I haven't got one yet.
  18. Surely the 'MS200t' doesn't trump the donation of 2 pairs of safety specs...
  19. What has an urgent care clinic based in Brooklyn got do do with Arborists on a UK Arb forum. That is 3 threads at least you have posted that on. Not relevant mate.
  20. "Bullies special ppprrrrize!" Ladies and gentleman, look what you could have won. Instead here is your special tankard and BFH!
  21. Well done for organising Steve. I will get some tickets soon, I promise. I think a special prize for the last tickets bought would be a good craic. Especially if the special prize isn't a bloody Speedboat or Caravan (Young's won't have a clue what I am going on about, unless they have seen old episodes of Bullseye on some dodgy cable channel) You could see a load of last minute sales go through.
