  1. When exactly are you looking to do the Job Ben?
  2. Dave I think it is a terminology thing... gullet to me is the bottom of the gap between the tooth and the depth gauge. If you look at the face of the cutter it has two planes to it whereas the other is a single plane in with a round grind.
  3. Torstein managed to delete Safari on my iPhone when he was similar age. I reinstalled the lot and it came back.
  4. Nice job. I had to laugh to myself though... a Landy doing that speed. There are landrover enthusiast all over the UK, pedal to the metal, foot to the floor and trying their hardest to be pulled over doing 45 + in a 50mph zone.
  5. I have a 4 season tent and the ground sheet is 10000 mm waterproof. 3000 is good but time will tell how long it stays that way. I ended up getting a small for my oldest son.
  6. Helmet cam sorry. Not to jerky though. Or
  7. Only got small and medium left online https://www.aldi.co.uk/fishing-softshell-jacket-green/p/072891099609300
  8. Why Joe? Just work out the fix lengths, use a tape measure and make a wire did out of a coat hanger. Tenex is really easy to splice.
  9. I got mine from treekit. I am sure they weren't 50 quid, maybe 40 odd but I did buy quite a few bits at the same time.
  10. Glad to hear they aren't twisted mate.
  11. Really joe? I had a xl ring given, bought two beast rings and the tenex to splice it and it came to a fraction of the cost. Mind you I have the impact block which is pretty expensive. As I said I use mine as and when necessary. My only grip is I have a few other slings with the xl rings. The throat on the splice of my 16mm polydine rigging line won't go through the rings. Sweet on the beast rings but for the xl's I have to use a non spliced eye on a narrower diameter rope. I usually rig with a krab in that situation for speed but sometimes it is easier to just grab a small swing cheek puppy for a redirect and save faffing with the knots.
  12. Everyone has different opinions, if we all thought the same it would be a pretty boring place. I wouldnt bother getting your knickers in a twist over it.
  13. The tune was by dj bc. Free download at djbc.net
  14. A picture is of the beast whoopie. I have a spare ring that can be put in the klenheist and then cinches down the bear ring into the other end of the whoopie for added bend radius.
  15. Thank you Darrin.
  16. Yes it is a good combination but dont think the CE version of Cougar Blue is the same as the original. A completely different rope, the only thing the same is the colour and the name.
  17. I use both as and when needed. I spliced up the beast whoopie Paul mentioned earlier. I use it in the latter part of this vid for blocking the stem down.
  18. Good work Tim. I enjoyed the cutting and filming.
  19. Have you spoken to whoever you bought it off?
  20. It that the new CE Marked Cougar (Not like the old) Blue? The piece that I tried bunched up the cover like that after two climbs
  21. To high clip I have a crappy old petzl krab in the metal eye aswell as the tool strip. The krab generally sits upright and is easy to clip and unclip one handed.
  22. Haha. No worries, I got your text mate. I'll send it out in the next day or so.
  23. When did you realise Matty it was back to front ... haha!
  24. Tragic event. RIP.
