  3. Never had a chin strap in 15 years of climbing and I only wear a seat belt on the Mway.

  10. I don't think its held any more, it used to be organized by Ken Linford and Myercougth collage. It was held in Leyland. It was just a timed work climb, with some bean bags to throw at a target part way through the climb and points for landing on a target and penalty's for making the bottom limb bend to much as you went to the end. No throw line throwing or foot locking. The results used to be published in the F&BT, they even had a pic of me accepting my saw in there (My only claim to fame )

  13. Sorry mate, but theres only me (and AC Price staff for road tests after repairs) get to drive her!!, with what it costs to maintain, I prefer to only have myself to blame when she breaks, which has been all to often of late!!
  14. No, I don't, have you compared the price of fire wood and chip? Mine will take 9" but we tend to only chip 5" and less.

  20. Just go and have a go Frank, you may surprise yourself, I did the NW comp a few years back, no foot locking or owt. I just turned up an had a go, came runner up, won a lovely turned Ash bowl. Did it again the following year and came runner up again and won an new 020T!!!!

  22. Hiab 071 7M reach Palfinger 10501 14M reach Palfinger has more lift, but all those extensions are heavy so it losses some. Palfinger will lift about 2.5 ton close in and 450kg at 14M
