  1. I was referring to the price for dead wooding the tree, not the cost of a three man day.
  2. IMO, far better that he gave a high price than a silly low price.
  3. At least he admitted not knowing the ID of the tree and looked it up, a true con man would have just made up a name and bulled his way.

  9. This is a myth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had insurance for 14 years and have NEVER been asked for tickets. And yes, before all the "you can't claim without tickets" crap starts, I have had 2 claims and again NEVER asked for tickets.

  20. Its grown out now, BUT its the psychological damage that really takes time to heal I should have had some professional counseling really, instead of trying to be a tough northern bloke and keeping it bottled up:thumbdown:

  22. Very true!! I run a mog so I don't need any other machines, its a winch tractor, an off road chipping unit, a forwarder, timber wagon,ect,ect. Its not cheep to maintain but it does ever thing I ask it to.
  23. Never rent anything Sub out a bit of stump grinding, but thats it. I have never paid to have timber hauled, or hired a skip
