If you are with them, tell them what to do and make more than them they are NOT a subie. If they look at the job, give you a price and do it them selfs they are. Its not that tricky.

I think people are only mixed up when they are trying to find a way round it. I've had EL for 15 years and NEVER had ONE employee.

In reality EL is very straight forward. The real big question, IMO, is whether none complacence to rules and regs means they refuse to payout or payout and then come after you for a refund. Speeding motorists get paid out and they are hardly playing by the rules.

I would love to read a REAL documented example, we hear so many "tales of woe". I have had 2 claims, and was asked very little.

Just DON'T give them the option!!!!!!!! The only time I do day rate is for commercial clients, so I don't have to look at the job and only then when I trust them not to take the mick.

You and most of the country, going off the number of people who stop and ask for wood on most of my jobs. The thing that gets me is they look at me like I just shot their dog when I say NO!!

OK, I'll have to ring again and leave my number. It just worries me when a Co never answers the phone, if I'm wanting to buy I feel sure they will ring me back, but what about after I've bought one and have a warranty issue??

How did you get a price?? I got feed up of ringing the number on the web site, I also tried the mobile number from the the machine on the land line.

BUT they weren't grinding it. If the stump is being left the criss cross cuts can help stop people slipping on the cut surface.
