  5. Very little She was happy to have the first two, but she blames me for the second two I always wanted lots of kids, I'd have more if it was down to me. Although I have to admit that as my youngest is getting bigger (shes just turned 5) we are able to do far more things as a family, without a toddler to worry about
  6. Family. It was MY decision to get married and MY decision to have children, so its MY responsibility to provide for them. I think pride comes into it to, we have a good standard of life and if that standard fell I would fell a great sense of personal failure.

  15. There are no REAL alternatives to unimogs, only disappointments!!!!!!
  16. Which chipper is it?? Front mounts are fairly uncommon and so hold there money, standard rear PTO machines tend to be much cheaper, I would sell the front mount and buy a standard PTO chipper.
  17. If people allow them to behave like that they will!! I would tell the to go forth and multiply. I have guys who will come and take timber from my yard and pay by the hoppus foot, they even came to site at 1AM on a Sunday night/Monday morning, to a road closure AND paid me.
  18. We don't know the whole story. Many years ago I used to climb for a timber merchant, I dismantled a large beech next to a house for him. He had won the job with a price of £200. I told him he was mad, he just gave me a rye smile. After I had stripped it to a pole, he felled it though a gap between two trees, cut it into lengths and loaded it onto his timber trailer. He shot of down the road to a saw mill and was back within the hour, with a cheque for £250. So he got £450 for the tree.
  19. Of to the Xmas fair at the school later, my girls will get to see Santa. Its lashing it down here.
