I've only ever encountered them once. It was down Shropshire way checking bat boxes, there were several in some of the boxes, quite unnerving.

People are often moaning about some folk retailing logs for not much more than this price, so I don't know why some are so shocked.

That looks really good. The only thing I would say is if you do get a mog it would be better on the rockhinger (sp) hitch than a pickup hitch. It would not be a huge job to swan neck the draw bar.

When people tell me the wood is worth a fortune I just say no problem pay me to fell it, then sell the wood to recoup your costs

Battery power is the future, give it a couple of years and we will just charge up half a dozen battery's each night. You will just get a fresh battery sent up to you instead of having your saw refueled. How cool will it be when we only put the ear defenders on for chipping!!!!
