I think eating breakfast is not about being hungry, its just a case of getting into the habit of eating.

It actually a mistranslation, it should read "madden" (unmarried) not virgin, I'm sure most will agree that unmarried mothers are some what more come than virgin mothers.

I know very little about depression. The only advice I can give is "look out, not in, the view is so much better".

But previous generations has so few facts with which to reason, its little wonder they had to make most things up. We however have more facts than any previous generation and are a position to enlighten ourselves and learn truth, to not do so is wilful ignorance.

Superstitious mumbo-jumbo, before science answered so many mysteries people had to come up with answers to why things happened. How could every thing die in winter and yet come back to life in spring?? Why does that child look so much like their long dead grandparent?? Why do some people get sick, but not others?? Where does the sun go at night?? What are stars?? Etc,etc. Surely we now have the knowledge to understand these things and reason on facts??

That sounds quite demeaning towards my wife. I go out to work and provide for my family,does that make me well trained?? We agreed many years ago to have very clearly defined roles in life. Some see it as very old fashioned and chauvinistic, but it works very well for us (it will be our 22nd wedding anniversary this year) And my chidden have the advantage of a full-time mum, who's always there when they need her.

Its nice to have the alarm go off, my wife gets up, I snooze and then the breakfast arrives and we watch the news in bed while I eat and she drinks her coffee. I then get up and go load the gear while she makes my lunch, very civilised in my book

Many years ago at my previous address I got a similar result, but without me doing anything. It happened as follows, I got a call from the planing saying "we have had a complaint about you running a business from the field at the back of your house" I replied "have you had a look??' her "yes" me "was it the sort of thing you expect to see in the country side, piles of logs, etc? its not as though I'm storing fridges or some other eye sore" her "well yes, but you need to apply for planning consent" They then wrote to me, which I ignored. She rang again and asked why I had not written in reply to their letter. I replied that if I wrote back they would start a file with my name on it in which to put my letter and I did not want them to have a file with my name on so I would not be writing. A few days later I got a letter saying my case was going to committee and I have 28 days to make representation. I ignored this too. A little over a month later I got another letter saying it had gone to committee, they had discussed my case and decided ...................to take no further action.

Why are you using holding wood when craning?? I thought "wing cuts" were only used for felling cuts. Were you standing laterals up before they were lifted clear?? When craining I try to have no holding at all, just cutting clean through.

That was really interesting, looked like the knew exactly what they were doing. I noticed at one point he got the horses to revers the boggy over the log, is getting horses to revers a boggy or cart very difficult. My grandfather worked horses on their farm as a boy, my father says he could revers the horse drawn hay wagon into the barn, my dad always said this was quite a feat.
