  1. My U1600 is on 10 stud axel's and with a 245HP engine is far more powerful than a U1700, plus its lighter.

  4. I've sacked it, there is some evidence that a high protein diet can increase your risk of cancer. I'm keeping a reduced carb intake, they recon the "third rule" is best, i.e., 1 third protein, 1 third veg and 1 third carb. Been back on limited carbs for a couple of days and still feeling good.
  5. "Neglected" how??????, Scotland gets more government funding per dead than the rest of the UK:001_rolleyes:
  6. A family friend got skin cancer on his face, he was dark haired and olive skinned, he never burnt, he need surgery to remove it, he has sadly since died of stomach cancer.
  7. Actually with most gear it must only have the safety equipment fitted at time of manufacture for an owner operator to use it, so old saws that never had a chain brake are legal, my first climbing saw was a 1978 020 with no brake. However chippers are different, the new regs brought in in 2000 are actually retrospective (this is very unusual) so all chipper must be modified to meet them, if being used commercially.
  8. You expect one small area where people can drive to buy cheaper fuel to affect fuel tax for the whole UK??????????
  9. Exactly!!! I have no real interest in them personally, but they seem like a pretty good investment
  10. Not much point in having a referendum on membership when it will be many, many years before a newly independent Scotland would even be considered for membership by the other members.
  11. The buds actually form in the Autumn, the fatten and open in spring.

  14. Do you need the bit in the ground?? you could just fell it
  15. Got to disagree with that, fast descending is often very useful for getting where you want to be, either out to the end of long lower limbs or getting over obstacles on the ground when you've finished.
  16. I got an email which appeared to be from Ebay, looked very convincing, it was telling me they were going to refund a buyer £500 from my paypal account, there was a "see case details" tab, which when clicked on took you to the Ebay login page. I did not put my details in, instead I logged on vier my own search, sure enough no such case.
  17. Still don't get the "ballsy" bit?? what did your instructor think was going to happen???
  18. Rubbish, England, Wales and Northern Ireland will still be united and continue to be the UK, its just that Scotland will have left.
