    Not sure I buy all this "instinct" stuff, don't we train ourselves to overcome our instincts when hang on a bit of rope 60+ft up?? I try to use my brain and experience to decide what actions to take.

  15. Obviously stove owners may keep some of the timber, but they will need to pay for the conversion or do it themselves.
  16. Rubbish, I just tell them they are welcome to keep the wood and they can sell it on ebay, not had one take me up on the offer yet

  18. If access is good I may charge less for taking the timber in 12ft lengths, rather than cutting it smaller and leaving it on site.
  19. Its a tax payer subsidised house, which is what council houses are. I love how people praise him for doing his job, I think the £150K probably helped
  20. We don't seem to have had any winter at all, but there is still time, last year we got 8ft drifts at the end of March.
  21. I have no idea how you could watch that 3 times, more frustrating than funny, IMO.
