  1. Cool, what year is your RR???
  2. Nice one, did you do it yourself???
  3. That very much depends on whats being offered
  4. Me too.
  5. Fence your land!!! I have, my GSD runs free. Dogs have two instincts, fight or flight, if you take away flight, they only have fight, chaining dogs makes then scared and aggressive, it should be illegal in my view. I have seen farm dogs that have gone insane on a chain, IMO a bullet is better than a chain.
  6. :congrats:
  7. You need to mix it with timber in order prevent blockage, IME.

    Hedge cutting

I'm pretty sure that this was changed and now you can be prosecuted for "disturbing" nesting birds, be that intentional or not.
  9. Yes, shot blasting and powder coat would be best, IMO.
  10. Nope, just that the test was not long enough for the fault to become manifest.
  11. Projecting there Mick, I'm not trying to "catch people out", simply reading with interest and wanting to better understand I generally give a price and walk away. Very rarely give written quotes, 99.9% verbal, but will email if pressed. I'm far to lazy to chase people up, but I'm sure I will have on occasion.
  12. How strange, are you sure their not just using that as an excuse because they don't want to admit to going with the cheapest quote
  13. How do you know this???
  14. :thumbup1:
  15. Why does the first email go into spam, but not the second???
  16. Bows???
  17. May seem a waste, but sometimes thats just good business, if you don't burn wood yourself or sell fire wood, then why go to the troubled of moving and storing it, better to burn on site and pick up the cheque.
  18. Fantastic fire wood!!!
  19. I don't see how chains and bars can be easier to maintain? I've always gone for TT circular saw blades on my processors. I've never had a moments trouble with them, cut fast and smooth and stay sharp for years, IME. Admittedly I've no experience of any processors running chains, but have plenty of experience of chains and bars, they do require a fair bit of maintenance, IME.
  20. You think a chipper trumps a child?????????? I truly hope you are childless!!!!
  21. There is a lot of truth here, IMO
  22. Do you have a 45 gallon drum? You could fill it using a 25L drum to a point where the tractor can only just lift it, water weighs 1KG per litre, so you will know the weight.
  23. Yes, top link or just a chain to make it impossible for the PTO shaft to telescope out and separate would be very sensible.
  24. Why would the seller care??? Their only interest will be in your cheque clearing
  25. I would not worry about it fatyre.
