  1. I've just parted with my 56 plate disco, it was a fantastic car, I really miss it. Mine had done 130'000 miles and the auto box was starting to go, could have had it reconditioned for about £1k with 12month waranty, but was warned that the turbo would probably go next, body off job, £2k+, and then the engine would probably blow. I've replaced it with a Landcruser Amazon can't say I've noticed it using much more fuel than the disco, although I never got more than about 22mpg from the disco. The Amazon is nice, but I preferred the disco, it was a great motor to drive.
  2. I think there if 100% rate relief on small businesses where the rateable value is low, so even if it is rateable, I don't think you would have pay anything.
  3. My understanding is they can only go back to the beginning of the year.
  4. I would think not, are they not 7500KG GVW, I think empty they will be getting close to 5000KG. Is there a PTO chipper fitted? another 1000KG+?
  5. :congrats:
  6. You can't say that!!!! He is proper clever you know, much more cleverer than what we are:001_huh:

  9. Yes I heard that, she is the biggest of the big hitters, so what she says goes, good for her
  10. A hedge is made up of trees, how else would you create a hedge?? I don't get the point of the thread???
  11. I think you are possibly confusing the issue, generally the first meter of land adjacent to the high way is owned by the highways agency. However if there is a wall or fence with the one meter this is normally the boundary and so denotes the change of owner. I've cleared plenty of trees from within a meter of the highway, the owner was billed.
  12. Looks like you have some belting kit!!!:thumbup1:
  13. Disclaimer!!!! for clarification, the above post was a joke :001_rolleyes:
  14. You don't need to give notice for Cherries I feel sure your client was cultivating them for fruit
  15. They are extracting the urine, not uncommon from councils unfortunately, they often seem to have little understanding of the legislation. You don't even need to use the form. Simply inform them in writing, get a receipt to prove you've informed then, wait six weeks then crack on.
  16. OK, I'll rephrase that:001_smile: The same people own both ebay and paypal
  17. I've seen one like this before, I think its a "Woodchuck" or "Chipmunk" or something similar. I think they are designed for taking small shrub stumps just below the surface. The cutting wheel is strange and mounted at an unusual angle, more like a sweeping bush than a grinding wheel.
  18. Ebay own paypal, so they want people to only feel safe buying through paypal, that way they make money twice.
  19. I doubt anyone would scrap it, I would guess someone who wants to keep it and feel confident the can raise it themselves, will buy it.
  20. Theres an echo in here.
  21. U900 also known as 406, thats short wheel base. or U1100 or 416 for long wheel base.
  22. Until it rots out and the sink hole appears
