  1. I don't think you can just switch oil, you need different seals in the pump and motors, needs to be ordered with bio-oil from new really, well thats my understanding.
  2. We certainly live in interesting times.
  3. What a ruddy discrace!!!! ….Do you see what I did there
  4. TPO on a Lawson cypress? What were they thinking?
  5. Looks like it to me, I bet its great for dressing up saw bars
  6. Schiesling anvils are super easy to turn or change. There is a single bolt that holds a plate over a wedge that retains the anvil. You remove the bolt, plate and wedge. Then screw the threaded bar on the end of the chipper blade changing tool and pull the anvil out. Takes about 3 minuets in total.
  7. Very true And it won't go though a McD's drive through
  8. Really?? Is this genuinely a consideration or are you kidding
  9. I'm like a bad smell mate, I may fade a little, but I'll always be be lingering in the background
  10. I've been hear a long time I don't post like I used to
  11. You french boys have far to much time on your hands, it kinda creeps me out
  12. Simply turn the stove down. I've also found that cutting the logs larger also slows them down, the heat from dry logs is quite surprising
  13. I think most people who buy kiln dried, buy small amounts and don't store outside or for long enough to become damp.
  14. My accountant reckons the flat rate scheme saves me £800 per year, plus there is less room for error, so there is no real risk of cocking up.
  15. How much Pop, Willow and softwood do you sell?
  16. No shortage around here as far as I can see. If there was the shortage you speak of why are rates still so low?
  17. Speeding up the rollers may increase chip size.
  18. What about sticking a drawbar and axel on the chipper?
  19. You need to rev the engine a little harder for staters, but realistically you will need to add a blower if you want to be able to chip conifer and blow it into the mog body. Yes you will need to use a reversing gear box. IMO you would be better buying a purpose built front mount, I've wasted a good amount of time and money messing about trying to get the wrong chipper to do the job.
  20. Yes they are very good, but quite expensive. I'm think more of simply a screw type cone that fits directly onto the crane rotator.
  21. These are both things I buy in bulk and store. Is your dealer very near you? I only visit my dealer every 3 to 6 months. I buy fuel 3 or 4 times a week.
