  1. Could try Amey, I think they have the Birmingham tree maintenance contract.
  2. Markings are required for working on high speed roads (over 50mph) https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/203670/traffic-signs-manual-chapter-08-part-02.pdf Section 05.2 Conspicuity
  3. Any decent local fencing supplier....

    Thoughts?

Me too, seems a waste of resources inspecting monthly....
  5. The only arb employment agencies I know are: Matt at TreeBear and Bruce at CTCRecruitment
  6. 15 years ago back in Cumbria it was £20/day, pub lunch + a brace of pheasant
  7. Agree with Coprinus, deadwood saprophyte.
  8. Looks like Laetiporus sulphureus to me - Chicken of the woods
  9. DLO Chargehand left a husky 560 on site yesterday. He only discovered this morning that it was gone. Suitable punishment? Looking at written warning. If it was a small firm he'd be paying for the replacement saw but we're ex Council DLO and his TUPE T&C's don't include the cost of replacing lost kit.
  10. BBC London interviewed him the other week. Incredible that they may promote such a disregard for public safety. No fall arrest system. No pedestrian exclusion zone accident waiting to happen
  11. It all sounds fine to me. Next planting season will certainly be acceptable. Perhaps include beating up along the lines of 'any whip failing to establish after two years will be replaced like for like in the next available planting season' ...just a thought
  12. Hi Paul, We've always got trees you could test in Harlow. Are you only wanting trees with signs of decay/disfunction? Josh

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
