  1. I have a customer who is looking to partex an Etesia hydro 124 diesel. It's not something we would take in so we are trying to get an underwritten price for him. If it's of interest let me know. Look at the john deere x165 model which is a good machine with 48" deck for reasonable.money and you can fit snow blade or power brush to them.we don't see them secondhand very often
  2. are you moving? I was going to ask you about another Arborist day like we had the last time a few years back? Could bring some other "goodies" to try as well this time.
  3. Hi Guys, A quick answer to your questions.... Just to save any confusion Ripon farm services Ltd are now covering the following postcode areas. YO, WF, HU, LS, HG, TS, DL. We have representation in all of these areas and not just the three mentioned previously. You`re NOT safe Johny!!!
  4. Look at the Grasshopper 725 or 930 out front mower with kubota diesel engine for commercial durability, speed (2.4ha per hour), versatility ( can fit an out front deck that fold up, power brush, snow blade, blower and collector if needed) and affordability in purchase price and servicing (1000 hrs between hydraulic oil services). Its sub £12k....check YouTube to see it working.
  5. Hi guys, we are looking for a Bernard Chippermaster blade sharpening machine. are there any for sale secondhand? Regards, Baz
  6. Hi Guys, My choice for commercial mowing around your budget would be the Rover 880M115B . We sell a few of these when commercial customers realise you cannot get a decent mower for a small budget. By buying cheap it is false economy as the waiting for parts, taking machines back to the dealer, waiting for their timescale to fix it etc is all downtime and cost for you. check out this link : Lawnflite | Everything you need for a perfect garden > Home > Lawnmowers 2014 Models > Rover Petrol Lawn Mowers > Rover 56cm/22" Self Propelled Rotary Lawn Mower This 22" Top of the Range lawn mower features the new Briggs 850 series engine. Mulch system is supplied as standard so you have the option to either collect grass or mulch. The durable 58 litre plastic grass bag, hard wearing alloy deck and hi-lift swing blades means this machine is designed for the large home owner or professional gardener. 1 year professional and 2 years domestic warranty. The other added feature is the reinforced axles and anti vibration (option) handlebars offering extra protection and adding to the long life of the mower. Very easy folding handles and screwdriver adjustable gearbox. The swing tip blades give the finish like a stripe without having a roller. We sell these under you budget . No brainer.

  15. Hi, I would look at John Deere JM36 3 in 1 machine which retails at £499+vat. its 56cm (22") steel deck , collector, mulch or side discharge machine. variable speed, ready start B&S engine which means no choke or throttle to worry about. Needs a bit of TLC due to steel deck but half the price of others of similar size specs etc. and its from John Deere where parts are available 7am next day from dealers if required. You wouldnt buy a Tecumseh engine chipper would you? Couldnt swear to the Sanli machines but we were asked to stock them but Jo public just doesnt like change, machines or engines that they dont know. They are doing lots of advertising but I never get asked for one. Hope this helps, regards, Baz
  16. hi, Any idea where Id get a corer from? Did richmonds do them? anybody got any contact details?
  17. I was offered a brian james trailer recently with short sides and removable mesh sides too. I think it was tipping body and not very old. If you are interested I could find out more info. let me know at [email protected] Baz
  18. Hi Guys, interesting conversations about blower / shredders. check out this link for further info on the little wonder range. YouTube - LittleWonderPower's Channel as a comparison the HPV model is around £1300+vat as opposed to the Billy goats similar machine of around £2000+vat. we tried one of the truckloader machines at saltex recently and was almost lifting the turf with a truckloader on full power. regards, Baz
  19. Hi ian, Yes im still here, waiting patiently for that HUGE order from you!!!! But Im going very grey now and might be dead soon... so get that wd40 out and start spending, those white fivers will be out of date soon... will be checking out the potential to stock this as quite a few of our customers are farmers who "potentially" are not very good or dont have the time to sharpen saws.
  20. Im heading down this year as a potential punter this year instead of on a stand. Will make a change to see the show in all its glory.probably late tues and early wed. Jonesie will look to catch up again. regards, Baz
  21. Hi Guys, Long time no post. Ive seen the info on the tinterweb about the new Power sharp. Dose anyone have any pros and cons of this? It sounds like a good idea but my initial thoughts were that you require specific chain which may make it expensive....and does it work? any thoughts?? regards, Baz

  24. Just had my first look at the Stihl Cordless Hedgetrimmers and they appear to be very good. My first question was " how long does the battery last and is it lighter than a petrol machine ?" Ive been told the battery lasts for 35 to 45 minutes and they provide two for quick turnaround, it also feels solidly built, not as heavy as petrol machine but also not gimmicky (if you know what i mean?). anyone tried one ??? would be interested in any feedback? check the microsite for info The new cordless power tools - STIHL HSA 65 and HSA 85 cordless hedge trimmers Baz
