  1. I will keep and eye and ear out for anything within RFS in Yorkshire. regards, Baz
  2. What is fascinating is that 1663 members have viewed this post so far, This just gives you an idea of the level of interest in the new machine. Ian , you want to know whats "Game Changing",as you say, come to the APF and find out... you already had a look at the new generation of machines at the AA show in the TW240 that you commented favourably on in a previous thread. What would change the game in your opinion? The TW150DHB is a SUB 750kg machine and to discuss other machines that don`t adhere to this spec on this thread is probably not the correct thread to respond to.
  3. I love it when you guys discuss what should and shouldn't be on the new "TW150" as per this thread. If comments were fed back to manufacturers the same as were mentioned on forums such as Arbtalk, then you would start to see chippers and shredders coming to the market with features that you require to carry out your works. As a TW dealer ,I for one am keen to feed back to the manufacturer the customer comments, whether they be good or bad. I know that the new replacement has been developed with the aid of comments received from TW Owners. The launch of this new sub750kg model will be fantastic so come along to the APF and see for yourself.
  4. Didn`t want to mention the "health and safety " thing... just in case:)

  9. Thanks for all your input guys. I will pass it on.
  10. Hi guys, I have a customer looking for a forestry mulcher head for a 3.5t excavator. Do you have one for sale? To hire? Or can you help him out by coming to near York to mulch his spruce woodland of 30 acres? Regards Baz
  11. Hi, the model now available is the Gr538 Orec. We are always asked about the differences or which machine to go for in this highly competitive sector. We provide lots of the Orec machinery to local authorities who ask for them in their procurement stage. The parts and backup come from fgm claymore so access should be good throughout their dealers. I don't know much about the As machines other than they have come from overseas and have 2 stroke motors on some models and are noisy and smoky. Hope this helps Baz

Hi Guys, We are the dealer covering all Yorkshire for the Orec machines. The Rabbit "ride on brushcutter" Mower is available in three models and include 2wd and 4wd. The strap line for these awesome machines is "whatever it will push over it will cut.." we have a demo machine and have cut nettles , brambles, 4 ft high grass , whin bushes, gorse bushes , bracken, heather and various degrees of slope. Check out this video of the machine. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATicgil-xdw]OREC RABBIT RM97 Ride on Brushcutter - YouTube[/ame]
  13. Check out englebert strauss website as they do fab quality and embroidery service. englebert-strauss.co.uk They do some very smart forestry high visibility and handsaw trousers, etc
  14. Check the model with the manufacturer as they may have a powerflow which is an impeller which fits on the ejection side of the mower (on john deere models). Maybe you can adapt one if you can't get the correct one.
  15. what you need is an Orec Rabbit ride on brushcutter. Anything it can push over it will cut!
  16. Fantastic Ian, was great to catch up. There were lots of people from Gods country and hope to catch up with everyone at the APF. I have a TW240TDHB if you want it. Better be quick though as they're a popular machine with all the new features.
  17. Yes folks....here are two photos taken during the recent AA show in Cirencester where Ian and his son are ordering his TW240TDHB from myself and Nigel from Timberwolf. ordering may be a strong word but Ian seemed impressed with the new model.Great banter and even his son was flabbergasted at Ian praising the machine.
  18. I met lots of people who are very knowledgeable and easy going. The arb fraternity have some really good people and am always impressed by the modesty of the guys who do a very difficult and dangerous job.
