dont know where its from or by whom, but just found this on another forum!!!!! There is unrest in the forest, There is trouble with the trees, For the maples want more sunlight And the oaks ignore their pleas.... So the maples formed a union And demanded equal rights. "The oaks are just too greedy; We will make them give us light." Now there's no more oak oppression, For they passed a noble law, And the trees are all kept equal By hatchet, axe, and saw.
  9. if memory serves correctly its on Cambridge ave, did a reduction on a lime near there couple of months back, until then i was unaware of its existance. Kev.

  15. if you are employed, i think they are obliged to provide the neccesary ppe for employees, which will include basic climbing kit, there may also be insurance issues involved.... i am not allowed to use any of my own kit for that reason.
  16. almost finished Blood River, by a journalist who recreated Stanleys route across the congo..... quite an eye opener and interesting if you are into travel writing, also currently into Karin Slaughter (american crime novels), big favourite was David Gemmell, but hes gone and died on me, so unlikely to get many more from him i suppose. Read nearly anything, horror, travel, fantasy, and well into a good biography from time to time.... the billy connolly ones are a good read, as is the bob geldof one, shane mcgowan, john peel, bill bryson etc.
  17. i just bought a new carabiner..... not quite the same, but it is very shiny!!!!!
  18. NFU are usually pretty good for landrover products...
  19. you could do worse that register here and post any questions you may have, they have tried almost everything possible between them and are pretty helpful, but they do like to see photos of projects!!! http://forum.difflock.com/ Kev.
  20. my thoughts would be to try putting some of the crap in the tray and see if that works....
  21. you are not kidding, bought one for mine last year, lifted the bonnet and took one look at how much was fastrened to it and promptly paid someone else to do the work for me! very nice shiny chassis in those pics! reckon i will have to swap the 90 for something bigger soon but might have to go for ex military 127 (rapier) and put a tipper and tool box on myself!! i do keep looking at crew cabs though..
  22. wouldnt be much good in the rough, theres not a lot of clearance underneath!!!! I'd still have on though! and they hire them out!!!! have a look on the dealer site... loadsa good toys!
  23. we had been running on estimated bills for a while, then they got in and read it properly, we shortly got a bill for nearly 3 grand..... turns out they had mis read it. got it sorted eventually with the correct figures and they ended up owing us a grand, that was a relief! as for burning nappies, i reckon it would be cheaper for me to buy in logs if i had to than to start breeding, just to provide fuel!
  24. this one made I laarfff, ignore if easily offended!
  25. but you must have been one cos you posted!!!!!!!
