I reckon it is loud enough, it's miles away though. Got to be a an underwater pipe, I wasn't suggesting it may be the the sound of the tree itself...

I'll bet you any amount of cash you can think of that there was the sound of rushing water coming from that tree. Personally, I reckon there must be a water source running around the root plate.

Bit strange this one... I'd just finished reducing a euc earlier on when the client came back. When we were having a chat she told me that "You can hear the water going up the trunk." I though aye right, but had a listen and there was definitely a rushing sound like water coming from the trunk. When I first priced the job, she did say that there was a high water table where she lived and that was one of the reasons she likes the tree so much. What's that all about?
