  1. Having encountered a few villians in my time, I don't think people think that way. Most of them don't want to get caught at all. Generally thieves go for the easiest or most lucrative score, depending on how 'sophisticated' they are.
  2. Get yerself a battery saw if you're that bothered. Or even a robotab. Bit boring but will lessen the chance of exploding. Unless, you leave the charger on for too long. That could really scupper things...
  3. Oh aye. Exploded may have been a tad of exaggeration. Engulfed in a fireball is a more accurate description. His trousers were a mess. I should add, that his trousers were only a mess because they'd burnt a bit. At no point did he seem to shit himself.
  4. ^True story. I've nothing against Tattoos, or smoking on site. I get pissed off at unneccessay bad language on site, sometime's it is necessary though... I also tend to work with people who are generally pretty amicable, so I know that if the client/potential client engages them, they're unlikely to turn into rude kid, or mumble something daft and wander off looking at their phones. If I was working for someone who didn't like smoking on site, then I wouldn't smoke on site. Unles they were a bit of a dick, then I'd break out the king edwards.
  5. Me tutor at college exploded himself, but that was by pouring fuel on what he thought was an extinguished brash pile. He also smoked sixty tabs a day and was one of the best climbers I've had the good fortune to meet.
  6. Fair enough. Probably just as well.
  7. You'd be better off taking up tabs. Only up the tree mind, you don't explode as well on the ground.
  8. If he's admitted doing it, and why wouldn't he? Then there has to be a investigation. It may be that the charge gets dropped to involuntary manslaughter and he will recieve a non custodial sentence for it. I one hundred percent believe that people should be free to defend their homes and loves ones wiith whatever means necessary. The fact is though, that he's killed someone. If they started making exceptions, then it would make a mockery of the judicial system and leave the doors wide open for anyone doing time for murder to contest their convictions.
  9. The fact they've bailed him given the gravity of the charge, indicates that they do not foresee him spending time in jail. " Exclusions to the right to bail The general right to bail does not apply in the following circumstances: Murder The power of magistrates to consider bail in murder cases, whether at first hearing or after a breach of an existing bail condition, is now removed by s. 115(1) of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009. This does not apply to attempted murder or conspiracy to murder. Where a person is charged with an offence of murder or attempted murder, and has previously been convicted in the UK or court of an EU Member State of an offence of murder, attempted murder, rape or a serious sexual offence (as listed in s. 25(2) of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994), he shall only be granted bail where there are exceptional reasons, which justify it. Section 114 of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 amends Schedule 1 to the Bail Act 1976. Section 114(2) provides that bail may not be granted to someone charged with murder unless the court is satisfied that there is no significant risk that, if released on bail, that person would commit an offence that would be likely to cause physical or mental injury to another person. In coming to that decision, the court must have regard to the nature and seriousness of the offence, the suspect's character and antecedents and his record in relation to previous grants of bail." 10. Easy Comrade.
  11. I'm yet to meet anyone who fitted their online persona. It's a weird medium where nuance and humour can be easily lost.
  12. Ha, you invited me to 'Find out' about you after I'd, admittedly, mocked your Title. If I remember rightly, Eggs called for me to show some respect. So I looked at what there was online about you. Nowt personal, you suggested it.
  13. It's nothing personal. When I first brought up the MBE some time ago, you suggested I knew nothing about you. So I had a wee search on the internet. This showed your business name and your qualifications. Coupled with that information, I looked at your posts in a different way, mainly, because while you champion green issues, you side with politicians who just don't fit your self proclaimed ideals. That made me wonder why? I get that you think that Corbyn is a threat to all you hold dear. A very close friend of mine is leaving the Army next year as a Warrent Officer First Class. While that doesn't make me a military strategist, I do have an inkling that things have moved on since Blackadder goes Forth. I'd genuinely like to have a drink with you sometime, but none of that Taekwondo.
  14. Alan Moore gets it:
  15. As far as I'm aware, all he was after was proof before enacting diplomatic measures. Which seems like a resonable thing to do. He's part of the Privvy Council, so can't be that much of a threat. Turns out that there appears to be no proof. I don't think that makes it a conspiracy theory.
  16. Fingers crossed for you. Unless there's some kind of drainage isssue, then I'd go with frost/cold damage. Perhaps they don't like the windchill while establishing.
  17. When savagely knocked off a motorbike some time ago, The interviewing copper asked me 'What speed were you doing, bearing in mind it's a 30mph zone?'
  18. I reckon it's frost damage. They may or may not bounce back depending how far they're gone. You probably knew that already though.
  19. Ha I don't think that other than Kevin mbe, anyone has mentioned Corbyn on these pages since the lies about Russian proof surfaced. Might be wrong though. If he's that unelectable though, why not just leave him to it?
  20. I guess that questioning party lines won't get me an MBE then...
  21. Yup but the powers that be, have form for using deception in order to further their political gain. If they had evidence then why delete official announcements? They're either liars or incompetents. I'm not buying what they're selling.
  22. This deleted tweet?:
  23. He really isn't 'Fit for purpose'.
  24. Yup, there should be no penalty for protecting your loved ones/home. I feel sorry for the guy, it'd be lousy to have to kill someone.
  25. Only if they believed what they'd been told. Governments have lied about these things before - WMD in Iraq for example. If they had evidence to prove that Russia was behind it then they should make it available.
