You're absolutely right. Comedy is a funny one though. I guess it comes down to personal opinion, but I think that so long as there is no real malice in what is said then laugh at whatever floats your boat. The far left seems to be eating itself alive at the moment by creating more and more fragmented factions. The far right have managed to teach a dog to raise a paw on command. What a time to be alive.

In an ideal world, what you say would make sense. But the open field felling practice just doesn't present itself in urban aboriculture. If you don't take calculated risks, you'll never progress. Luckily, nobody was injured and he got the tree on the deck. I'm sure that they'll learn from their mistake. -

I feel for the poor bloke who got burgled. Only one person in that transaction asked for it. That's a real piss take (the cortege going past the house) if that is the case. They have the powers to make protest marches take certain routes to avoid trouble. You'd think they could invoke the same thing here.

Aye, spot on ID. The fact that Kretzch is associated with the black cinder, bubble texture, can throw people when the newer, grey white growth is also knocking about. Also, the nature of Kretzch, being a heartwood rotter, means that the tree may well show little in the way of dysfunction until it snaps.
