  1. Aye, that's been going on for ages. they're vicious killing things, Cats are hyper aware creatures. They reckon that they produce four times as much serotonin per square inch of brain as we do. Now, given that they're much smaller, that suggests that they're off their lips constantly. Which explains the purring and occasional violent outburst.
  2. You have a valid point. Domestic cats cause massive damage to already struggling bird populations. Struggling because their natural habitat is being eroded. Farm cats are useful, as is the house cat who chins mice. You're not supposed to eat them. Also, cats are canny good judges of character. And they're every bit as good as a dog, in that they can save you from yourself when the shit hits the fan.
  3. This is Mutha Kray. Hardest farm cat in town.
  4. Aye, I agree with you. However until things change we're going to need these services in place. If people feel they have no place in society, then they'll make their own or get coerced into someone elses.
  5. I'm not advocating 'Youth Clubs'. I'm talking about funded groups with trained specialists who deal with 'problem' children. Youth services. There used to be funding and governmental support for these organisations, but they no longer exist due to lack of investment.
  6. A substantial increase in spending on youth services would help. There used to be things in place that might nip things in the bud before they go reet off the rails. An end to the culture of austerity and substantial increases in spending are the only ways I can see to actually address the roots of the problem. Anything else is just dealing with the symptoms, not the cause.
  7. You need more police to do that. Sadiq Khan has nothing to do with police numbers.
  8. More copppers. Jail for unnecessarily carrying a knife. More importantly, invest heavily in education and other things that might benefit the general status quo. Poverty causes desperation. Desperation causes people to do stupid things.
  9. Boil rice. Fry lots of garlic, add boiled rice. Put garlic fried rice in a bowl. Fry an egg and put it on top of the garlic rice. Splash on some soy sauce. Filipino breakfast that is somehow more than the sum of its parts.
  10. Trump will do whatever they let him.
  11. Me too. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/12/mek-backtalk-iranian-group-214526
  12. I do as it happens (the ramping up bit). What on earth would the Iranians stand to gain? Have a gander at this: What do you think aboout it?
  13. That John Bolton appears to be a bit of a badun: https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/that-time-john-bolton-promised-regime-change-in-iran-before-2019-fa9be9dd2e5d
  14. Seems like America's ramping things up:
  15. Top tip: If someone isn't in a position to offer you work, ask them if they can recommend someone who might be able to.
  16. I've realised I had no wallet on me before after filling up before. They took my details and said that they'd report me to the cops as as drive away if I didn't square them up in 24hrs. That was at a shell garage. Most garages will take payment over the phone too.
  17. Protracted discussion? Did you know your foot is the same length as your inner forearm from you elbow to your wrist?

    Birds/Nests

It's a bit like saying 'my street'.
  19. Paco de Lucia is something else I suspect he's an alien. You're right about George Benson, he gets a very nice tone out of his guitar:

    Birds/Nests

The swallows just landed at my farm a week or so ago. They're mint birds.
  21. Yaxley lennon is a pure shitgibbon. He can't even knock someone out from behind. Hooligan? Wheyaye.
  22. I think you may be right. https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=931
  23. Looking forward to the Leeds event.
