  1. The first whack of Flucloxawhatsit had no effect on my arm. I had to double dose on them for a further week. On the plus side, It probbaly rendered me incapable of carrying any disease ever.
  2. I had a bad infection in my elbow from a blackthorn. Apparently your bones have membranes, succeptible to bastard thorns, surrounding them. After getting a taxi to A&E in the middle of the night, they drained the tennis ball sized lump on me arm and sent me away with a hefty dose of antibiotics. When the swelling subsided, I was left with a calcified point on my elbow. If I was a Thai boxer I'd be dangerous. Don't mess with blackthorn. Do drink gin with it's berries though.
  3. Fair play to him I reckon. I pushed my luck massively when I was a bit dafter.
  4. That's just what syccies do, I think, mate.
  5. I dunno. I think Corbyn is fairly popular amongst Labour members. Their membership has rocketed. I think that as more Blairites get shown the door, the popularity of Labour will increase even further. No-one likes or trusts Theresa May, Boris and that Mogg bloke whoever he is.
  6. a) Spot on. b) I genuinely believe that Labour would make less of a hash of it. c) Why are you so anti Labour? d) Farage has never been an MP. He's not really that good. There's no point engaging people if they won't talk.
  7. They wouldn't do that...
  8. I mostly agree. There's nothing wrong with claiming benefits if you need them. I'd go to a+e with an accident. That's the whole point of social security. Sometimes you get people who extract the urine. I reckon that the amount that benefit claimants receive is small fry when you compare it to the amounts of money that the Tories have allowed to be squirrelled away by their mates. Politicians should be respected for who they are. I don't see anyone standing up for the incumbent shitshower.
  9. You'd think that they didn't want to be free of EU shackles. That or they just haven't got a clue.
  10. It's like the next manager of Sunderland...
  11. What could possibly go wrong?
  12. Aye, It's amazing what you can do with a little bit of intelligence.
  13. I know that you, like me, are a green at heart. What makes you think that Comrade Corbyn is such bad news? The labour party's manifesto was fully costed and their current guidance on fiscal policy is coming from non other than Yanis Varoufakis. The tories are abosolutely rubbish at running a government. Why do you think another tory (Mogg) would make thiins better? Genuine question.
  14. I'm not sure that they ever had 3). I reckon that 2) could be considered contentious.
  15. Tory implosion.
  16. I try to find quietish places and if approached by rangers etc, just explain I need to rest and I'll be away in the morning with no mess. Never had a problem yet.
  17. Aye, even though the logo looks mint for 82, I was only five years old then so it escaped me.
  18. It's interesting how music from different places can be so similar. Folk music sounds' folky' everywhere.
