  2. Hello, I've got approx 140m of lleylandii hedge to reduce by half to a height of 3m. I usually just clamber through them but don't fancy doing this this time. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether a mewp or scaffold would be best for this? Cheers, Mark.

    Rain!!!

    Put them in a pillowcase so the mrs doesn't kick off when they jam the drum... and they're usually canny dry when they come out.
  5. My old boss did some work for Duncan Ferguson. He got a call a couple of months later saying that he'd killed the trees. He went up to investigate at it turned up that all the leaves had fallen off. It was autumn...
  6. There's a trick for stopping laces coming undone, wrap the lace round twice before pulling it through to create the bow.

  13. Also, throwing the line over and tying it off meand you get the maximum amount of leverage on the stem.
